Hi Garian,

In which form did you send your RPRF , i mean money order or check. And is there any possibility we may be able to know that they have cashed it .And can we pay in US dollars?

Thanks

sazid, I sent Cashier's Check. I paid in US dollars only. You can call up the bank's service delivery department and they will be able to tell you whether the check was encashed and on what date

Today my status changed after sending the medicals! The Medical was done on June 26, received on July 8th (Fedex delivery note), but the status was unchanged - In process. I hope this is an update from NY office that they have received the medicals!

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 21, 2010.
Medical results have been received.

Yes, that is correct. I made it for USD 490. The amount is the same, there is no exchange rate conversion involved.

Some good news and a few questions...

My status changed to "In Process" on Aug 20th and I received Med request on Aug 23rd from LA office.

My question is, is this a good sign that the med req was sent so fast? Also, in the med req, they have not asked for more documents but have these statements made at the end of the letter:

'We will review your case in 120 days to verify that all documents have been provided. We ask that you do not contact us within the next 4 months while waiting for the above requested docs unless you have a changed in your family composition or a change of address'

Is this standard wording for all cases or is there a possibility that they might ask for more documents later? Also, there is no mention of whether they may/maynot ask for interview.

Seniors, please give me your insight.

Hi,i don't know if anybody can answer this or not..

My file is through my attorney,so would she get the medical request by mail ?
and what if i want to find out and keep myself updated on the request without eliminating my consultant,

So in all wanna make sure that even if she missed the mail or the request is there any way for me to find out about the request..

I do have an attorney, too. They first received an email with the medicals request and then they received the forms for me and my family by regular mail. They informed us as soon as they got them because after receiving medicals we should pay them the second part of their fees. I guess they will communicate with you quickly if you own money to them. But they should communicate to you as soon as they received the medicals because there is a time frame for submitting proof of medicals done, mine was 30 days.
I hope this helps

Yes you are right on that point,,i do have to pay them an installment on medicals request...so ofcourse they would be on it,
But iam just scared that they might get busy and god forbidden miss the email,so just want to act as a backup, because even after filling it through
an attorney,i'v been tracking every movement on my case,i'v been double checking every time by calling cic...so that's why..

Finally, I GOT THE MEDICAL REQUEST.
It came suddenly and I couldn't be happier. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!
and my status is still "RVCD by VO"
