They will send AOR via email (if you provided one) and document request will be sent via post mail. Wait for 120 days before contact them, Buffalo is slow!

Hey guys,

The other day i noticed that my initial application to the CIC Nova Scotia that had been completed, was removed. Now only the "In Process" is showing. This change took place last week and i have been "In Process" since early June.

Any one else have the same experience? I am waiting for my Med requests - being optimistic that changes maybe a sign of life on the other end.

People with experience from Detroit office – how long did it take in your case to receive a PPR from the moment “Medical results received” message appeared in your e-case?
Please share your experience and thank you kindly.

Same here. But, I noticed that 2 weeks back.

Thanks Garian4u. Are you done with your process? I see that you are done with your Meds! Congratulations!

I guess they are just doing some house-keeping. If the process at CIC is completed, then it would make sense to remove it. Where are you with you application? Waiting for visa?

Little update on the status today....

" We transferred your application to the Detroit office on August 3, 2010. The Detroit office may contact you. "

But Main status stil in " Recieved by visa office " :(

Don't know when it's gonna change????

No LovE2Wait, waiting for passport request. My medicals were received by Ottawa just a week back. They take 4-6 weeks to send them to Buffalo which is my CIC, and then Buffalo can take it's own time to issue the PPR (if the medicals are fine). So, waiting for visa is a far cry :-)

HAHAHAHAH. Hang-in-there, you are a few steps in front of me - am still waiting for my Med request. I think the final stretch is always the hardest! Wishing you a speedy end

Be patient, man :D. it's been 4 weeks for me now and nothing happens

Just a gentle reminder to all you guys.
I took a little over a year to move between a Buffalo AOR and my med request.
I took a little over three months between my med completion and my ppr.

Thought I'd let you know that although annoying and frustrating at times - you simply have no choice but to hang in there.
Spend your time researching life in Canada while you are at it.
Be aware that there is LOTS to prepare for after the magic visa is issued.

Best wishes from an old and fading thread member ;D

We can't afford to let you fade away ;D

My status finally changed to "in-process" on Aug 2010 now waiting for medical request.
