Really the US affords maximum opportunities to minorities? Have you looked at their immigration system? No sponsor = No residency or way to miggrate! Either a job lands you here in the US and you suck up years tied to the same job so they sponsor you or a family member sponsors you. Both ways take years. Not to mention that the US is years behind on equal rights in comparison to Canada and same sex marriage.

Have you noticed they have a minority president?

Have you noticed that they have minority governors?

Have you noticed that top political appointees like departmental secretaries, secretary of states and attorney generals have been minorities?

Have you noticed that top CEOs are minorities?

Should I go on?

Compared to the UK and Canada, that is huge credit to them.

Canadian Ministry: Fantino, Julian - Italian
Diane Ablonczy - American
Tim Uppal - Religion: Sikhism
Bal Gosal - Indian
Bev Oda - Japannesse Canadian...

There are many more members in Canadian Government that represent minorities! But I wont spend my day looking for all of them..

CEO's I bet they are plenty more than government officials!

Also different VO's have different quotas every year to ensure diversity! And the US could bennefit from a similar program that brings diverse skilled workers instead of just diversity that could easily become a burden on the government since the only requieremnt to participate in the DV lottery os a high school degree! How many of them end living on wellfare? Who knows! But I am sure lots more can be done to bring diversity to the US, I live in the US and know what it is.

Anyways, I think canada is a very diverse country and someday I will be glad to be a PR of Canada and a future citizen

I can not begin to count the number of minorities in the US senate and House of Reps!
