Visa office quotas run January 1st to Dec 31st.

However, the quotas are based on what the visa office is staffed/resourced to handle - so running out of visas within the quota much before the end of the year is rare, and I would be very surprised if any visa office has met its 2011 FSW quota yet.

But yes I imagine they do counts throughout the year and if they do find themselves "ahead" they can take a break from FSW for a bit to focus on other routes.

N.B: E-cas status still reads ''IN PROCESS'' and the Bank(in Canada) says RPRF not cashed yet as at last night(Couldn't be bothered though!).

My comments are not written to offend. If you followed the discussion, it was as a result of an article that came up about Irish immigrants.

I have not blamed Canada or anyother country for anything. I have simply stressed obvious facts about racial sentiments which apply not only to Canada.

The discussion about whites came about when someone made comparisons between white areas in the US and minority areas.

What I have said here is that no race is immune from criminality and that immigration within western nations favour whites over others. That is a fact.

Simply because I want to move to a country does not stop me from having an opinion about the country. Knowing what to expect prepares you for what you will face. Even if a country doesn't want me, as long as it is legal, I will go there and stand up against the prejudice.

My comments about the US is based on obvious observation based on the achievements of minorities. I haven't said it is the greatest place to live. All I've said is that it has the best opportunities economically and politically for immigrants.

This discussion has carried on in a non offensive manner and I have challenged opinions that have attempted to stereotype any race while drawing out obvious facts about various communities. It seems some rabble rousers have chosen to twist it out of proportion with talk that is completely out of context.

I stand by my comments and no one has any more right than I to apply. That decision is entirely mine!

western countries do not favor whites. majority of immigrants to US and Canada come from Asia, South America and Eastern Europe. eastern Europeans are white but they are not favored. I would know that.

Look at our thread, most of the visas are being issued to Asian nationals. if I'm not mistaken first visa London issued was to a Pakistani national.

I agree, no race is immune from criminality. if Chicago (where I live) has its prisons filled with African-Americans and Latinos I would say it's only because they commit most of the crimes and not because our white mayor wants that. I believe it's possible in some areas but it is not a rule.

again, come to US, live here for few years and then preach me about it. a vacation spent here or a bunch online numbers give you zip.

it all depends on you, your work ethic, your ability to integrate, compromise and sacrifice.

yes, after reading the whole discussion again I still believe this discussion has carried in an offensive way.
