I will advise that you quickly send the photos of your step children so that their medical request can be sent as early as possible. I will also advise that you send RPRF for you & spouse(2X$490) with PCC together. I don't have any idea about the validity of FBI PCC.
You may use a courier to send them but as for drop box in your VO, I cannot really tell as it may depend on different VOs. Just my opinion.

You need to send 2 X $490 ($980) for both of you. It can be one draft of $980. You don't need to send them as two separate drafts.
You can also request for that now to speed things up.
Your step children are not required to pay RPRF, whether accompanying you or not.

Hi Montycan I have a question if you don't mind, I say your timeline and say you received the MR in Apr but you have still not appeared for the same even after about 45 days, I am not sure why would someone wait for so long for Medical?

WE received a letter from London VO today. It was addressed to my wife. Its from their medical services.

Dear XXXX,
This refer ............permanent residence.
Further medical information is required before a decision can be reached. Please take the enclosed sealed envelope to the DMP who examined you.

The envelope was sealed with a little cello tape. When I peeped into the envelope, I was able to read its content & it is as follows:

Dear Dr XXXX, (DMP)
The above named applicant has undergone a preliminary medical evaluation by this office. In order to complete this evaluation, the following information is required:
Other: CHEST X-RAY FOLLOING CONFINEMENT, OR AS SOON AS CLINICALLY APPROPRIATE (ACTUAL FILM AND REPORT REQUIRED), EDC: 25/06/2011.
Please what are your opinions about this letter particularly the ones in red. What is the meaning of EDC: 25/06/2011?
Please note that my wife's due date is 25/06/2011. How does it affect the medical?

EDC; expected date of confinement , same thing as due date. Some acronyms refer to it as EDD - expected date of delivery
