Hi,

An update on the email which I recieved from Buffalo regarding the Fingerprints for my wife.

Consulate in Chandiagrh is not capable of doing fingerprints. New Delhi Consulate does not have any availability untill mid-july. My wife got an appointment for June 7th at Phillaur, near Jalandhar (Punjab) at Crime Branch, who are capable of doing this.

I had called RCMP on last Friday, had someone call back today to clarify few things.

So the process is - When she goes there, she would be given Form#C216C to fill, and then fingerprints on paper, standard and rolling with information like full name, file# (in our case - both the file#'s), address for buffalo VO (HSBC one), etc. The Crime branch will date, sign and stamp it and give the form, fingerprints to my wife. She then has to make money order or certified cheque for $25CAD or equivalent in US currency for processing fee, and mail all these documents to Ottawa RCMP HQ. They will assess and send the assessment (results) to Buffalo VO. I was told by the lady from RCMP that we can not have electronic finger prints outside Canada, so only option we have is paper fingerprints.

My ECAS still shows RBVO, and I have 2 file#'s. The first file# which starts with E0 was issued by CIO NS, and 2nd file# is B0 which was written in email from Buffalo VO (the email which had fingerprint request).

I assume, ECAS would be updated sometime this week to In-Process (I hope so), as they have issued 2nd file#. Also, I assume, they have done the eligibility review too, or they are in processo of doing it.. But I am not sure, as we all know how VO's and Buffalo in particularly works.

Regards,
Shiv

Dear Cappuccino,

Thank you for all your efforts on this thread

I saw your remark about the guy from Warsaw visa office on sending is medical report to London and that seems strange to you.

It is very very correct.

I am of the berlin visa office and the instruction was to send the medical results to regional medical head office in Vienna and for your information..in same letter it isstated that any medcal exams after 01/06/2011 should be sent to London medical services devision and the regional medical officers asses the results and give them a feedback b4 the next step.

I did my own medical mid last month and already had PPR and was told because is a whole family will take upto one week to issue the visa.

Already had the medical results line included

Hey - i'm not a guy ;)

And now for something completely different.....a taste of Canadian Humour at this special time of year (yes Indira, you WILL have to suffer Stanley Cup Playoffs next year!)....

A man had two of the best tickets for the Stanley Cup Final. As he sits down, another man comes along and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him..
"No", he says, "the seat is empty."
"This is incredible!" said the man, "who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Stanley Cup Final, the biggest sporting event of the year, and not use it?"
He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was supposed to come with me but she passed away. This is the first Cup Final we haven't been to together since we got married."
"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. I guess you couldn't find someone else, a friend or relative or even a neighbour to take the seat?"
The man shakes his head... "No. They're all at the funeral."

He he he

Wow Pippin. a very good joke indeed and a very good way to keep ourselves away from thinking of the ecas all the time.

thanks

Kittu

I am 26, on and off the record :) I wonder if anyone here is 25 years old? There should be few members with even lower age group in NOC 3152.

Dear dsvrk & Majorhell,
Can you please explain how do you manage to achieve a minimum of 67 points at that age? :)

Dear Friends

Once again I am putting forward this request.

Few days back a member of the forum (sorry for I do not remember the name) has informed about receiving the medical forms from the VO. In the post he has said that the letter includes his own medical form and not for his wife. He hoped that his wife would receive it at her place of current residence in India. I would like to know whether his wife received the medical form in India or whatever had happened. If anyone is aware of it kindly inform. My son is in Canada and the rest of the family is in India. So am just keen to know what is the procedure.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mortez,

Nice to see you around. Hope everything is fine with you and yours. I believe you had better pm asoo62 who is the pioneer from Damascus VO in this. I will let you know if I find out how she has filled the money order sooner than she replies you.

Best of Luck

Hi all

We just recieved a Medical Furthurance request from NDVO for jeniya alone

The Request is dated 18th May 2011, and they have given 90 days time to complete the test.

It is in a sealed envelop and it is written in the covering letter that only the DMP is supposed to open the sealed envelop

Since we have not done X-ray test for Jeniya i hope it is the request for X-ray.

Seniors request your openion
