Thank you Wayne, and thanks to all other active admins; :) You have put a lot of time and effort to keep the spreadsheet as perfect as it could be.

What do you think if we ask all forumers to write their request for uptading their status in some specific color and ask the users to avoid typing in that color for other purposes. I believe this would be of course easier for admins to notice the request even in a glance, and would minimize the problem with bothering them by PMing or repeating one quote over and over.

Thanks,
Katy

Good idea Katy!

How about GREEN? :)

The problem is that the new joinees don't go back and read the earlier posts ......So, we'll be back to square 1.....We have seen such things happening in the past........like new joinees asking basic (and already addressed) questions..........No harm in giving it a try though........

Asaif:
I can do my bit in maintaining the spreadsheet.....Chk ur mailbox.

Thanks,

Dear bro

We may be of little help to you on this....... :o ...... The problem is every state has their own set of working culture / routine. Some RPOs / PCOs believe in real work .... some believe in Vitamin M and most of them believe in work getting completed in auto ..... :o .......
You have to approach the PCO to find out their beliefs ....... RPO will definitely take about 3 weeks ..... Best if possible (and if you have residence proofs for Mumbai) .... approach Mumbai RPO.

Cheers, Anil

In general, we have to get a PCC from that state RPO where we are residing for more than 1 year currently.

Hi Wayne, Anil, Indira,

Could you be kind enough to let me know when exactly do we get the 2nd. AOR. Is it after 2nd eligibility review or after the file reaches the visa office. I just got my 2nd. AOR. Can I expect MR ,PCC and PPR soon?

Thanks,
Cheersman.

Wayne,
In the VO summery tab,
who is the lucky one (singapore VO) who got his VISA ? :o

regards,
Dr.Hasib

Just an error - some admin (not me! :)) had put a space in the "Visa received date" field for Ladykiller. Since it is not blank it therefore flags that as being received. I have removed the space and it is correct now.

Wayne.

Please see below, hope it helps. The 2nd AOR is sent out after the ER at the VO.

Thank you Canady for your wishes:).. I hope you can arrange ALL the documents and send them in time:)..

So, yes, I've been telling this for quite sometime out here..

The VO does a quick go through of the documentation in our file, once it reaches the VO. This is assumed to be their 'Eligibility Review' as far as our group is concerned. . We have not heard anyone being questioned or further documentation at this stage from any VO yet. So, we assume, this is just a 67 points/Factors check, which we have all passed through @ the CIO.

Once it passes through this stage, they put the application into processing queue, an indication of which our ECAS reads 'In Process', with an additional line inside to read 'We REVIEWED your application and we started processing on XXXX'. There are still some bugs with the ECAS and so, it might not be 100% reliable :-[.

It's here they do the documentation genuineness check, overall background checks regarding the info we have provided in the application and it's here they ask for more documentation/call employers/applicants etc.,

So far, all our records indicate that an applicant will receive medicals only after these checks are over. They only do this for a few % of applications and that explains why some people get medicals earlier than the others after the AOR or RBVO status.

So, once they are satisfied with the documentation part, they send out the medicals/RPRF/PCC requests:).. ND also sends out PPR with the same requests. They initiate the security and criminality checks right after they send the medicals out. This usually takes 30 days time, and the whole check is outsourced.

So, by the time they receive the medicals and PCCs, they expect the security checks to get over very soon. I guess, they en cash our RPRF only after ALL checks are complete.

The next step is the most important for us :P :o.. Stamping the passports:):):)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
