u only need to take FBI clearence if you visited US for a substantial time...like we did for 4 months.....

Its 6 months as per CIC website. Also, you should go to Malibagh DB Branch. I went there on 14th March and it took me roughly 20 minutes. It was very smooth and they were friendly and professional. You would need to pay a chalan day before you go there. Please contact them at least 2-3 days before you plan to take the fingerprints as there are some other official documents that you need to sign.

Also, since you have time constraints, please use the prepaid fedex envelop with your request so that they return it via fedex. I have sent mine on 14th March and it reached there on 17th and my CC was charged on 29th March. Hopefully i will get it back within 3-5 days once they send it from there with my envelop. Use fedex, they have standard procedure for this.

Hope it helps.

Dear friends,

First:

I have been quite busy the past few days and i missed over 30 pages. I overlooked the spread sheet. Congratulations for all who received their medicals including Cairo, magdy580, indira and snow100 who received his 2nd AOR.

Second:
Friends,
even though I'm not in the mood at all :( :( :(,anxious, worried, very tired and frustrated :'( :'( :'( enough to share anything with anyone...but i have always been faithful to the forum and i should share this:

I'm assuring you that the VO performs another eligibility review for sure and here is the story:

Last Wednesday, 30th of March, my wife (the main applicant) received unexpected :o phone call at 9 am exactly from the Canadian Embassy in Cairo. As per my wife, the officer was Egyptian, very polite but also very strict.

She asked her about 2 major concerns:

1)There were about 2 years of overlapping between her work at the government and another work for a drug factory. The officer asked her for documented explanation and proof of her work and her vacation from the governmental institution.

2) She asked about explanation for how and why her contract with the drug factory wasn't written except after quite long time from start working with them.

The officer didn't give a dead line for submitting the documents and asked my wife if she has her file number.

We are working on getting the documents but we actually facing very hard times. The attitude of those in the human resources at her work are really really awful. They are quite rude and impolite. We are going here and there since Wednesday for nothing till now!!! I think there are people who really really enjoy delaying your work to be done!! I guess i can only now imagine why my wife left this factory and why she hates her governmental work and has always been describing it by her GRAVE!!

Dear friends,
you have always been supportive to me. And i really really need your prayers and faithful wishes.

wish me luck!

Dear Amro elsayed, Moori, engy, basmallah: I really appreciate your concerns and prayers for me.I'm so grateful.

Dear engy,
I'm praying for you to get your medicals very very soon. I suggest you send them inquiry about your file.

Dear all Cairo applicants,
only you who can understand the hell of practicing you right in getting a document. So pray for me and my wife to get out of this nightmare safely.

Dear smaar,
I remember you in my prayers. Pls tell me how was your IELTS results? Hope you have done well.

I have alot to finish tomorrow and i need to sleep.

If, after getting and sending the documents, we'll hear any thing good, i'll tell you right away. But if their feedback regarding what we are going to send will be bad...then i doubt i can participate anymore!

Wish you all, all the luck.

canady

Im really sorry to you,my friend to hearing this un-expected request from the Canadian embassy.Im sure that you will find some way to fix & overcome this situation.Even if you forced to pay some money to those people in x-work of your wife.Because this is the real life of Egypt.
And I think your problem is not soo difficult and it can be solved soon. While my problem is more complicated because I got less points this time in IELTS GT ,I got 8 points .whereas last IELTS academic I got 10 points(I reached 67 points in this test),Although I got the same overall band of 6 .
So now I only have only 65 points and I should re-set for nearst IELTS test before the deadline.
Anyway If you look to my problem and delaying that caused ,you will be more patient and your stress will be less.
I will pray for you brother.
Keep goint forword and dont be frustrated.

I applied under 1233 NOC on 6th december'10 as single applicant, but got married in Feb. Now I got my 2nd AOR on 28th March, Though I am yet to recieve Medical request, Is there a time limit for me to update the documents again so that my spouse is also included in the application.
And what happens if am not able to update documents before the medical request. Would I be still able to include my spouse in the application?

Seniors Please advise!
