How can one check the status of applcn online if there is no PER/NER received? Please share if it si possible

You can use a Client ID number. Which is provided in every Canadian Immigration Document (visitors visa, work permit, study permit, etc.). I've used a Client ID number. Hopw it helps.

According to the spreadsheet (https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AiJy8Qu8lcQbdGxiSnNhME5sVi1uRlZtUWNhOEFwemc&hl=ar&authkey=CLDXsFA#gid=0),cio takes approximately three to four months.I You must receive your per in few weeks else there is something we still did not know how CIC handles files priority.
We can discuss in this issue with seniors.

Hey guys,
I have a question. Has anyone who received a "PER" used anything apart from a bank statement to show proof of funds? I have a friend who wants to apply but he doesn't have the cash in the bank. He does have real estate and vehicles though. Please give me your opinions ASAP.

Indicate the amount(in canadian dollars) of unencumbered,transferable and available funds that you have.This amount can include the value of any property that you own,but should not include jewellery,cars or other personal assets.
I think real estate is okay if the documents are in his name to show prove of ownership,but vehicles is NOT accepted.take care
