Please persuade your friends in Arab Forum to interact and share there thoughts and ideas in this forum about there experience while wiating for the PR to Canada. I belive they all know good english else they would not have cleared IELTS for applyinng to Canada.

Well, I doubt we're going to hear anything new until Monday now. Unless some of the MIA forum members get in touch to let us know their status. Keep your spirits up people, its only a matter of time now. All the best to us all.

Does PER mean AOR?

Yeah, PER is just the re-branded term for AOR that we're throwing around this thread, since it's further ahead in the process to the AORs that the pre-June-26 applicants used to get.

AOR = Acknowledgement Of Receipt
PER = Positive Eligibility Review

Guess it should really be FERC for Final Eligiblity Review Complete ;)

Last 2 days I had 0 positives and 2 negs. Actually starting to think there's people who just randomly go around the entire forum negging people ;)

I would like to know from my peers here - if an application is returned for any missing document, can it be sent back to cic? if so, what is the way of making an appeal?

I am a September applicant and my noc 1122 has reached its cap so i am lil skeptical about the whole thing .. I wish I get my AOR and I wish others in this thread too...but if this happens to anyone of us unfortunately, is there a hope of resending the application?

Rohan

Hi Rohan,

As Wayne said, one can't make an appeal if the application is returned and you can re-apply only in July 2011.

I would advice everyone concerned (with BDs not encashed) to take-up French classes and if ,God forbid, anyone gets a rejection, Quebec would be the next best option (if eligible). The total processing time for CSQ+VO is somewhat same as FSW (PER/AOR+VO) and one doesn't need to be highly proficient in French, just basic knowledge will do. This is a win-win option. If (& I hope) you get your PER, you can claim additional points for language ability that helps in final decision at VO. Moreover, French skills will improve the job prospects in Canada.

Can evaluate your chances for Quebec here --> http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/permanent-workers/epi.html

Rohan, FSW 2 would require you to get a job offer from Canada. TBH.. You'll be fortunate if you get it while being in India without any assistance. Some agents charge between USD 8k to 10k to arrange the AEO approved job offer. But it works !!

So with all said and done, most of us share similar concerns as you do (irrespective of BD status) but there is always a door open filled with options .. just need to pick the right one. :)

Best of Luck !
