Hi darshan,

Nice to see you back....I hope the marriage ceremony went off well.

Darshan, unfortunately you have no option but to wait for Vo's instructions. Its good that you have kept your VO informed about your whereabouts.

This is what I would suggest for you:

1. Check all your documents properly...esp your References....dates of employment, Job duties etc.
2. I have a feeling that the "verifications need to be undertaken with partner agencies" is in reference to your recent visit to India.

Nothing to worry Darshan....have some more patience.

i would like to remind u that there was a big mistake(some 1else's name on 2nd page) in my ref. letter
and when sydney vo ask me to submit 2 missing docs(22nd of march) at that time they also mention to get ready with my and my wife's all original academics.if i will be asked to attend the interview...so may be they are verifying my all academics
but i am really warried abt that mistake in my ref. letter...

Finally collected passports with MAPLE LEAF stamped on the 30th January .It was issued on January 18..While i may not have posted on a regular basis here, i have diligently followed this forum from the very early days when it started.

have you got any query or mail to submit any other supportive document?? How come you dont recv any call since Nov'11.....? If they have any question they should either call you or ask you for an interview by now..... The third line which you mentioni you can see over ECAS status is only added when you are about to recv your MR or interview call..... Is there anything happen after OCT 31st??? any comm. with CIO/CHC from your side??

i went to india for 2 mnths to attend my sister's wedding...so i already told abt my unavailability during last 2 mnths.
they already asked me to submmit couple of docs which were missing last yr in march whn i received my 2nd aor to process further.

i already informed to vo 1s i came here in aus again then they never replied me 1st time.but 1s again i mailed them next week that i am already here in aus and whts the current status of my application or u want any further docs to process again then at last replied me as above...

its a one day group session and the other day u have one on one session
On the first day, they give information on all the aspects of immigration
geography of the country, current policies of the provinces, how to be job ready for canada, how to make resumes, what to expect, how to make your action plan once u land there, pre landing preparations, finances- how to open bank account from home country, what are the services available for immigrants

A detail booklet with all the helpful links

The next day you have one on one session with them and they make you a customised action plan, and help you get in touch with correct person, they make referrals to immigration services, universities to upgrade yourself and you can ask them any information you want for family, kids, housing, licensing, etc whatever you think of, they will guide u to right sources....

All in all a session worth attending ;D ;D

One can register... I have registered... months back... and I keep getting updates on upcoming sessions...
