hi

I am new to this forum and my ecas status is in progress. I know that in the next stage MR will reach me, but I am bit afraid about medicals as I have some allergic rash due to sea food and they will take time to heal. Beside this I am absolutely healthy in all aspects. Can u plz brief me up what all tests are there in medical examination and what all does physical examination includes.
ur advice will be appreciated.
rash wouldn't be a problem

Some positive news about our medical.
I got an email from London VO today:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that we have found the xray for your spouse. We will contact you once the medical section has recorded the results in our system.

I emailed them yesterday expressing my frustration about the loss of documents within their office.
Thank you all for your concern and encouragement.

Shalom

Great news!!!
So hopefully they will process your medical results in high speed just to make things right! ;)

Kind regards,
Louise!

Those are GCMS notes so they're pretty straight forward. I sent them to a friend who is an immigration lawyer and he said the same as Rod: this is their deadline to finish the application. However, considering I haven't even received the medical request yet, common sense says that this application won't be finished in four months as per the eligibility assessment deadline they noted. Fingers crossed however. I started preparing a CEC application.

Don't know if you want to do this, but for $60 these people do a "CAIPs Interpretation" they should certainly tell you what that date means:

You may also ask Qorax, he might know what it means .... Good luck

Hi all,

Please can anyone on this forum who initially applied as single (unmarried) and updated his application as married during the process before decision made give me some info on the dynamics involved; such as delay incurred, additional documentation requested, best time to inform VO i.e before or after medical etc.

I am about getting married this month & i wish i can find someone who has passed through this path.

Thanx

FMA (the person who started this thread) landed exactly 1 year ago in Canada - 7th Oct '10. I hope the person who gave us this wonderful platform to interact with each other is doing well. It would be great if he can share his experience during last 1 year with us.

All the best to fma and all my friends here :)

Regards
Manpreet
+1 for you Mani5553 for remindiing us about the contribution made by FMA :)

mahek,

I do think they can easily finish in 4 months. Here is why. Per the spreadsheet it seems that it takes 2 months from when buffalo received medical to issue passport request. So accordingly, they could send you the meds anytime from now to mid Dec and you will be done around mid February 2012 if you don't delay your medicals too much.

Just my thought,
Rod
