Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Regarding File Number E... and B...

I have my UCI (as I understood Universal Client Identification) and E... number that states for Electronic Application (this I know from my VO letter).

What would mean B.. number, i will like to know too. And is there any difference between E and B?

Our number is a 'B' number.
I am wondering why the information seems to be erroneous for some and just inaccessible for me! It says they can't find ours and it sys this might be because it is not at the VO yet, but then some applicants here have got their file on the checker even though they haven't got PER yet!

I can now see my status in E-CAS. The status is :-

We received your application for permanent residence on August 6, 2010.
Medical results have been received.

Bit confused about the last line though. I havn't appeared for any Medicals yet..so where from they received the medical results!!

I have been away for last 4-5 days and couldn't read the posts. so not sure if this question has already been asked by someone and already replied. I just saw my status in e cas, and the first thing I am doing is sharing with you all.. Next I am gonna share it with me wife That's the charm of this great forum..

Most applicants got the same thing. It's just a mistake. Don't worry.

how you can check your application if you doesn't receive PER? how do you know the file number ?? ???

OK thanks for the info. This might well indicate these applications which can be checked online have reached visa office then?

Hi Wayne,

I guess e-cas is updated by CIO and not by VO, and i believe that is the reason why people with different VO got the status on the same day.
I think, we can not conclude that if we have a status on e cas, our files have reached VO.

Our file is "E" i am so confused as well, Please advice who has E file and who has B file, and whats the difference between :-\

A14: CAS is updated on a weekly basis. Please consult the Application Processing Times for information on how long it will take to process your application.

We were the same date as you for PER. Is your number a B... as well, or an E...?
I tried checking us under "United Kingdom and colonies and now I can see us. It says,
IN PROCESS Medicals received
even though we haven't had meds yet, just like everyone else.

Very few PERs today. Congrats to the two lucky winners bit it is a shame CIO are not working through the September applicants as fast as we might have hoped. I suppose there are a lot of apps for September, though.
