I have not received PER, can I check my present status from the above mentioned link, if yes then what Identification number would I have to write here ? As I have none

U can ask ur status by mailing CIO, they most probably will send u some ID no., which u can use to check status there. I believe many PER seekers could check their status like this.

My file number starts with E. Do you guys think its normal?? and the date of encashment is 30th september as per CIO. Im very grateful to the forum for being there during the insane waiting period.
My ECAS is already showing IN PROCESS

Checked our status today and we are not even listed on there yet.
They are updating to the new system, so it is anybody's guess what the situation is at the moment.
There was talk that no-one would be listed until they were at the VO, which is why we didn't expect to be on it yet. If other applicants are showing, but their status is incorrect, that is certainly confusing.

Could somebody please explain hows e-cas system works, why some people who have'nt received PER can access the system and some who have PER can not? i've tried all versions of our surname and name and middle name, and UCI and E.... file number

Drives me crazy :'(

Dear Friends, my application is also "In Process" ;D HOORAY! Thank you everybody at CIO and VO for making this board a happy place today and congratulation to all those receiving PERs i also hope those who have had their applications returned can re-submit or have their applications successfully appealed.

As for the "Medical Records Received," I know what it is... we are all suffering from the "Maple Flu" It is a distant relative of the "Bird Flu." Basically those suffering from the condition wake up in the middle of the night, draw their own blood, take a picture of their chest and mail it to their VO without remembering a thing the next day

There was a severe case of Maple Flu over at the "January 2010 Application Received" thread, where an innocent applicant apparently drove overnight to the visa office, got their Maple leaf stamped in their passport in early morning, drove back and went to sleep...

If you have a TWP, you can check your status online using the client id number on your WP. It will work.

I checked my application using the B file number provided to me when I emailed CIO inquiring about my application and nothing came up.

However, when I checked using my Client ID Number on my post graduate work permit my application status says : IN PROCESS "We received your application for permanent residence on October 22, 2010. "

I noticed that IN PROCESS usually comes when the application is at the VO. I haven't even received my first PER yet (but soon ) so I am not sure what is going on.

Worried:
I submitted my application few days back but am worried about a mistake which I just noticed in my fee payment form. I entered correct number of family members i.e. 1 but by mistake have typed $500 instead of $550 in the corresponding fee cell.
However in the total have put the correct figure i.e. $ 1100 and have send the BD of the same correct amount.
Now this typo is rattling in my head and would request you people to share your opinion about the severity of such mistake.
God is great so lets face the fact and share expert views of seniors to clear up some uncertainty.

I can smell me PER coming ..... But it is surprising that your File # starts with E instead of B ...... How about the other number (there will be 2 numbers/ identification references) ..... Any one with same situation??? Congrats again .......
