You are in a very precarious situation ente....but have you applied for extension of your stay? I hope you have.

Imagine if you were in my situation it could be worse. I have applied to renew my re-entry visa to Canada. I sent my passport to New York on 14 July and haven't got any feedback yet. They do not answer any email. I do not have passport and I feel like a prisoner in Canada :'(

I understand what you are going through....

Please see my case in the above post.

My simple advice is .... whenever you send visa application, please send a covering letter and say that you are expecting to travel in two months... I have seen some better result.

I understand you need your passport for medicals, so call "1800..." and ask their advice. Try to get the person who picks up the phone and quote them and send an email to Buffalo about your VISIT VISA and passport. Please do not forget to put your name, UCI, DOB, Country of citizenship. Hope you will get better result.

What an admirable attitude you have entemaria! More power to you ;D ... We are all going through some frustrating times dealing with great adversity... One can only succeed if they remain positive and never give up! Thank you for your smile entemaria :D you put things in perspective for me. Hope your wife and baby are doing well.

THANK CHAMPION MITALI,

I renewed my contract for 6 months and applied for an extension of work permit. I do not want stay in Canada if I do not get Permanent Residence in 6 months. I will better go back and stay with my family. I am tired of all these limitations put in work permit.

Hey entemaria, dont worry about it. Everything will get worked out before your contract expires buddy!. I can clearly understand your frustration and it is definetely not an easy think to go over. Please try to keep your spirit up. Will call you tonight!.

Don't forgot how many fraustration you crossed over this year with your brother loss and work permit expires with no definte result but for sure god paid you back with a beatifull baby this year and no doubt you will receive your PR visa in near future. Mark this year in your personal diary things you crossed with hard hurdles and with some great good news(i.e. baby and pr visa)!.

There are hundred reasons to be frustrated but I look at what I achieved....

When I think about Cfr, Mari and you and many others who are not in forum waiting eagerly for their visas... I am thankful to what I achieved and rememeber to put you guys in thoughts crosssing my fingers.

I am hoping to hear a good news for you guys.

I decided not to apply for Visit Visa renewal to Buffalo so that they may not need to look up my application. They can use that time for PR application. ;) ;) A simple step to help Buffalo. When I get work permit, I can travel to my home country and renew the Canada visit visa there..... hehehe
