Entemaria,

Given that I or any applicants from October last year have not received Meds (I think till date buffalo was giving medicals on most instances in 11 months after CIO) I am sure most of us will go around 1.5yrs to get our visa... :( Just my thoughts... What do other Buffalo applicants think?

:'( The wait is killing me. I'm about to start crawling walls... I really hope Buffalo gives some news in September :'(

Rod

Don't worry rod. Don't do dangerous things. You need your healthy body for medical test :D ;)

Imagine if you were in my situation it could be worse. I have applied to renew my re-entry visa to Canada. I sent my passport to New York on 14 July and haven't got any feedback yet. They do not answer any email. I do not have passport and I feel like a prisoner in Canada :'(

Feel better now?! :P ;D :D ;)

Hi Rod:

I agree with you, 1.5 years seems to be the minimum wait for those of us Buffalo applicants still in RBVO. I'm a September applicant, my one year anniversary is a few days from now. There are still September applicants left in RBVO besides myself.

What concerns me is that we have not had anyone go "In Process" from buffalo since late July... I'm hoping the address disappearance of cfr1907 and Mary will change that. For now though, it seems they took a batch of applicants and processed them to the end (Congratz to them all 8))... but no one has gone in process for a while... Don't know what to make of it.

My address has disappeared on September 5th from the e-case for the 2nd time since I had submitted the additional documents to London VO in July. I hope I get the MR this time....Waiting Waiting Waiting and just waiting I guess..... ::) ::)

Dear Spiderman Rod,

I agree with your thoughts. We saw some exceptions about two visas from Buffalo but the best time frame that we can expect from Buffalo is 1.5 years.
Hope they do that.

Today my work permit expires.
My visa in Canada expires.
My SIN expires
My Health Card (OHIP) expires
and my visa to US expires.

If I fall sick, I have to pay lot of money, so better not.

but I can still smile ;)

Goodluck! Always hope for the best! It's also prudent to invest in learning prior to landing. So try to browse information site that will help you settle in the eventuality that your visa arrives. the arrival of the visa is only the halfway mark and the things that you will do here in Canada will be the other half. so get equipped. read the cic site. read the information sites such as the Migrate to Canada. You'll never get wrong with that.
