because on 14th April my app was sent to Damasus..... but yesterday suddenly Warsaw VO informed me that my file was trenferred there on 15th July

u had the same experiece like me during these days??!!! 8) 8) 8)

yes my brother I got email from Warsaw VO on 18 Jul to inform me that my file transfer to them from Damascus VO and today I got another email asking for my police certificates cause I did not send them with my application. I was expecting 30 to 45 days before contacting me but it was v fast.

Thanks Mitali for clarification. Much appreciated. I haven't heard of any NDVO applicants getting an Ecas status of visa office eligibility review complete after RBVO (even though it is mentioned in the outline of stages processing) , just RBVO to INPROCESS. Is this correct??

Hi mwansaa,

Yes, you are correct that NDVO directly goes into IN process status after RBVO. Not all the VO's are syncronized in this matter.

I feel that CIC has not been able to put in a system which would differentiate between Pre and post June 26th 2010 applications in regards to checking online status. If a pre june applicant has to check his status then he would find the same chart of progress for his application even though the rules in place at that time were different than the current one. The 120day requirement to submit all necessary document and "Eligibilty review complete at VO stage" makes sense for pre June 2010 applicants.

Maybe some VO's like NDVO has progressed ahead of others and thus send "In process" status just after RBVO whereas others still maintain and continue with the old system.

I completely understand the "diversity lottery" but there is enough people in every country in the world with talents wishing to migrate to the US and accomplish the "American Dream". IMO they could easily diversify the culture while bringing talent and helping their economy

I think you misunderstood the U.S. visa lottery system. This lottery was never meant to bring talent in the U.S. The sole purpose was to keep United States fully diversified. Each county has a certain quota system, once that quota is reached, that country has to wait for several years, before the quota reopens.

This is the only reason that you find people from each and every nation in United States. Yes, I agree that the time it takes through family and employment really sucks and the only hope is the immigration reform act, If that goes through, processing time will be slashed almost 50%.

I got the NER. It's my fault because I did not send transcripts from college for my husband. So we lost 4 points and fallen off. Maybe we'll try again (NOC 3222). How long to wait to return documents and money? And, if anyone knows why the tracker in Arabic?

Thanks again Mitali. So with NDVO, after RBVO, once your application is deemed eligible it goes into IN Process and during IN Process the background and security checks ensue OR are background checks (educational qualifications, work experience etc) done during RBVO???
