Application status - Profile Ineligible!

Hi everyone,

I got my IELTS result and then created a profile and completed the information. When I submitted, I received a message that I'm not eligible for Express Entry! I worked out my points from the CIC website and I have 471.

I must say that I have applied for my Education Credential Assessment but haven't received the results yet so in the profile, I said NO to the ECA part for my qualification and thought I could add that later on. Could that be the issue that it's saying I'm not eligible?

Yes - ECA is the reason. You need to have ECA for your profile to be eligible.

I have another question. I will turn to 31 in a couple of weeks and if I wanted to keep the points for my age of 30, should I submit my profile or submit the ITA before my birthday?

You need to receive ITA before you turn 31.

If you have calculated correctly, You have really good score, don't worry you will be fine.
