Hi,

I saw in different threads that we should photocopy the co-pr and/or or card along with the application package. However, I didn't find those as required in the document checklist. Should I provide them anyway?

Thanks!

Include what's on the checklist, no less, no more. No need to include PR Card or COPR.

You can use your PR card as an identification document under certain circumstances (as per https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...bsection-5-1-adults-18-years-older.html#Step3):

Examples of identification you can use include:
  • a copy of the biographical page of your passport/travel document (as requested above and also can be one (1) of your pieces of personal identification)
  • permanent resident card (PR card)
    • A PR card may only be used as personal identification if your second piece of personal identification was issued by the Canadian government.
  • [...]

But it is by no means necessary if you are using other identification documents instead.
