On the Newfoundland & Labrador Health and Community Services website, it states that to apply for provincial health coverage, a Canadian citizen must submit the following documents along with the application:
1- SIN card
2- Canadian passport
3- Birth certificate
4- Federal Government document containing name and SIN number (example: assessment from Revenue Canada)
My question is: What sort of Federal Government document may I submit, other than an assessment from Revenue Canada?
I have never resided in Canada and am currently in the process of moving there. However, before moving, I want to make sure that I am eligible for health coverage.
Any advice on the matter much appreciated.
Thank you
