No one is replying as no one has the information. However, you should expect it to be less easier compared to a year before as the new regulation relaxed the issue with regard to autism..

I hope someone will see the effect soon and give you a concrete reply soon .

Hi all, I am also joining this discussion which is quite old. My child who is turning 3 year old next month is having minor development delay. He is having delayed speech, little difficulty in walking and understanding the situations. He is presently undergoing various therapies. I am about to create my profile next month after successfully processing WES and IELTS. What are the possible challenges I might face in PR application and how can I address? Requesting you to share your valuable experiences and ideas. Thank you in advance.

Could you tell me more about her medical test situation? Was she asked for more medical reports from specialist in autism?

Hi! May I ask what your sister did or what documents or reports were presented? We are in toronto and will do the medical soon. We received ITA last month.

Hello people, I am really glad to hear stories of people who have their disabled relatives getting through PR process. It gives me hope because I am planning to sponsor my autistic brother along with my mother. Can anyone please explain how did you go through the process? My brother is 24 yo high functioning autistic person and requires only few therapy sessions and medicines but still needs social assistance. According to my mother, the medical expenses for my brother is roughly 1000 INR per month not including his school fees. With all these how are his chances to get a PR?

Relax yourself. With the relaxed medical admissibility rule of June 2018 you have nothing to worry about

Hi. You should bring your child's or brother's condition well documented to his medical evaluation. I refer to medical, neurological, school, therapist evaluations. The more documents you carry, the better. This way, the autism condition can be immediately identified and additional visits to other specialists can be avoided. When the case is reviewed, it will be marked M5, which indicates that one of the members may cause excessive demand for social or health services. Here they send the file to the CMAU (The Centralized Medical Admissibility Unit) which will review the file and when identifying the autism condition they will apply the temporary policy announced in April 2018. Once that step is completed, the medical evaluation will be marked as passed and The application will be approved. We did that and thank God we already received our PR.

Hi just wondering how long did your medical pass after transfering to CMAU? Thanks.
