I understand the logic for providing a buffer with the time, but why 2-3 months? That seems excessive. I'm aiming for 1115 days and delayed my application by a few weeks to accomodate. Why should I wait even longer?

Hello Everyone,

I am approaching time where i can apply for citizenship. I tried filling the application form and facing errors (Red Block against the date section) in following fields:

1- Question 9 - "TO" Date
2- Question 10 - All "FROM" and "TO" Dates
3- Question 11 - All "TO" Dates
4- Question 14 - Passport "ISSUE" and "EXPIRY" Dates

Anyone else faced such issues while filling application in pdf format on PC and how to deal with this ?

I have also seen that in the document checklist, its not mentioned to submit scanned copies of all pages of Passport. I heard, people submitting them before. Is that something changed recently, anyone has any idea about it ?

Do we need to submit copies of all pages with stamps or just follow the Document Checklist.

Thanks

Make sure you are using Adobe Reader, or create a new instance of the form and fill it again.

there are sometimes issues when you save and continue a form, so usually filling out a fresh form fixes it.

Simply follow the document checklist. Passport scans will be requested later in the process, during the interview request.

I'm sorry - "2 - 3 months" was a typo in the post. What I meant was 2 - 3 weeks. I applied with 1116 days myself.

Hey @rajkamalmohanram

At this point based on your observation, do you recommend new applicants to still use online process bs paper based?
Considering, January 2021 applicants for online process haven't received AOR yet, do you recommend new applicants like me to go through online process?

Q.9. Adult main form. I will provide a signed copy of the Online Physical Presence Calculator.

The online physical presence calculator does not have any place to sign and date when I print it. Does anyone else face this issue?

Hi all
I would appreciate if the senior member could answer the below questions regarding citizenship application

1- There is no signature and date space anymore on the end of the physical calculator!!!!!! In the application of citizenship is still says that I should attach a “signed and dated” copy of the physical calculator !!!!!! Anybody who sent the citizenship application recently that could help?

2- Also regarding the IELTS , I only have a photocopy of the ielts I submitted with my PR application but in the guidline it doese not says a copy is accepted?

Thank in advance for anybody who has the experience in answering these two questions ?

Thank you

You don't have to sign and date the physical presence calculator. Here's the source.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the application form.

2- Also regarding the IELTS , I only have a photocopy of the ielts I submitted with my PR application but in the guidline it doese not says a copy is accepted?

The instruction guide CLEARLY says that you only have to submit a copy of your language proof. You don't have to submit the original.

Here's the source.

Thank in advance for anybody who has the experience in answering these two questions ?

Thank you

Thank you very much for your detailed reply Rakamalmohanram

I would be most most grateful if you could help me with this question.

I was trying to finish my citiznehsip application today and I was surprised with this puzzling issue:

When i'm filling my physical calculator it ask me to enter the date i'm going to sign the application . So when i enter the date as 21st May 2021 the eligibility period in the calculator shows as as 21th May 2016 - 20th May 2021.

But when I Copy the "to date " from the calculator which is the (20th of May 2021) into the Citizenship application it shows the eligibility period as 20th May 2016 - 20th May 2021!!!!!!!

There is a one day difference between the two eligibility periods!!

Calculator is showing 21st of May 2016 - 20th May 2021 vs Application showing 20th May 2016- 20th May 2021

could you please explain if I'm doing something wrong? i'm really going crazy trying to figure this out. There must be something worong

thank you

Yeah I think this is how it has been lately. I have received several reports about this and I guess this is okay since the dates are generated automatically. You might want to discuss with someone more recently (post October 2020 applicants) to get more information but AFAIK, this is perfectly fine.

Good luck!
