I applied in mid april. I was wondering how we can know that they accepted my application.

i think what you're trying to ask is how you would know if they received your application?

if you sent your application by courier (ups, fedex etc.), then you can check in their website (the courier's) using the tracking system if your package has been delivered. usually they also enter the person who accepted the package.

I saw online that they already recieved my application.

Also i want to know how much time it takes at NS, Canada to answer.

You can go to the place where you got your draft from. If you get it from any currency exchange or bank, they would know the status of draft and they wouldnt mind checking it for you.

for the time taken by NS, go to trackit and sort it by Application Filed column and you can figure out the average processing time...
