I have just received my medical examination instructions via email. I filed my paper based application via TCS Islamabad on 25th April, 2013. Today is 12th June, 2013. I will update the spreadsheet in a minute. Lagta hai sab ko aik saat he medical call aayi hai ........... I have a couple of questions for my friends on this forum.

1) What does the medical call mean? does it mean all my other documents (bank statements etc) have been processed and verified?
2) what are my chances to get a visa now that I have received medical call?

1: medical form IMM1017E (this will be filled by the IOM na????? i just need to take this printed form with me?)
2: 5600 RS should i pay this amount in standard chartered beforehand or it will be taken on that day?
3: 5 pics
4: 2 passport copies 2 nic copies and original nic
5: my TCS original receipt

note: i Alhamdulillah have no medical history nor any eyesight weakness hence wouldnt be taking any thing concerning this.
can any body from lahore share his xperience??????

You applied on paper so your passport hasn't been returned. Appearently IOM is not raising issues about not having original passports? I know cases in which passports were returned by embassy, taken to IOM and then resubmitted to embassy again. I have also seen cases in which original passports remained with the embassy and IOM didn't ask for them.

Also, i have also seen cases even on this forum where passports were not returned and IOM didn't allow conducting medical. Then it took a month to resolve. I was wondering what is the current situation.

Lastly, why 5 pics? Did you find that written some where?

Its the 7th day, No call yet. Hope they work on paper based faster coz, online is preferred now. Very few paper based must have been there now. Congratulations to those who received the calls, Well done, your patience was worth it.

I was wondering what should I ask the embassy through email about my case.. Any suggestions?

I received email from CIC and only my file number is given ... no medical email only file number mentioned .

Thanks to ALLAH, I got my med today...my bro Farhan helped me alot, he also updated my profile in spread sheet(which I hate the most) kidding anyways now please tell me how you guys get an appointment at IMO, do I have to call there or what?

Yes you will have to call the IOM office. They have offices in Lahore, Karachi , Islamabad. Call the one closer to you. Do that ASAP so u can get an early date.
