Yeah, I think the NOC code does have some kind of influence so as to how fast our applications are processed. Usually, when we get our second AOR, it specifically says how long it would take to process our applications before medical Requests are sent to us. However, my second AOR didn't say such a thing and, when inquired from CHC, I was told that the application was queued up to be reviewed by immigration officer. I understand that my application has been worked upon on a continuous basis. So the best way for us to figure out how long we have to wait before medical requests is to rely on what our second AOR says. The good thing is that the processing time will not exceed the duration mentioned in our second AOR. That (processing time mentioned in our second AOR) gives us a good idea of when to expect medical request. I had a terrible time waiting for medicals and i am sure you guys are going through such a period now.aran said:
Hi await, I got the same reply when i enquired about my application status about five months back when my application was "in process" that the application was in the queue to be reviewed by a visa officer. So I think that could have been a regular email responses to email inquiries when application is in IN Process. In my case, it was almost 9 months past when i got the medical request. In process stage takes about maximum 9 months to issue Med Request under the fast track system, (not for all applications). So I would suggest you to wait for another three to four weeks and if you still do not hear anything from CHC, make an inquiry again. if you do not get favorable response even after that, You may want to order CAIPS to see what's going on with your application.await said:
