Hi guys, got PPR last night. Here is my timeline update:

App Filed Oct 30, 2014
PER Jan 28, 2015
MED Request Apr 23, 2015
RPRF Request Apr 23, 2015
MED Done Apr 30, 2015
PPR May 29, 2015

I have a question about the enclosed prepaid Canada Post Xpresspost envelope for returning our passports. The letter from CIC Ottawa asks for a national one, but when I went to post office, they insisted that regional should be OK because I'm in Ontario. Just wondering if CIC will be returning my passport from other place than Ottawa? Anyone else has similar experience? What was your "Deliver from" address who has got passport returned? Ottawa or others?

Thanks

If I were you, then I just listen to what CiC said. Post office guy is right but be on the safe side.

Cheers,

Congrats :D ;D and +1 for you

Would you please share your nationality?
What about the 4th line in ECAS?

Hi buddy,

If you are in Ontario, a regional envelope is perfectly fine. I used that and I've got my passport back no problem.

Congratulations on your PPR and enjoy! :)

Hello my friends,

I am in Ottawa for a conference and today I rented a bike going around the city, stopped CPC-O taking pictures....

And tonight, when I checked my status: DECISION MADE!

Such a coincidence!

Hello everyone,

Today I used the online system to pay right of permanent residence fee by credit card. After passing all the steps and entering the credit card information, I received the official receipt in my email. There is a table in the receipt named "payer information". In my receipt the only information written is "my name". The field of "date of birth"/ "client ID"/"Address"/ "postal code"/"Area Code"/"Telephone No." are all blank.
Is this normal or is it because I did something wrong?

Yes, that's normal. Fill them by hand --> Scan and email them. I did the same. The name that appeared was mine as I paid from my Credit card.

Cheers,

Hi All,

Is it mandatory to send CIC the receipt for RPRF. After paying $490, the automatic email I have received is like this:
""""Attached to this e-mail is a copy of your official receipt for the payment of Citizenship and Immigration fees. Please print this receipt and attach a copy of the receipt to your application""""
Your case processing centre will only accept a printout of the official receipt as proof of payment. Thank you.
and it seems I must sent the hard copy of receipt to them. If "yes", I was wondering if somebody give me the mailing address.

Thanks in advance

Hi friends,
I have a question: is it normal to have the fourth line before PPR? I have encountered a lot of comments that PPR should come first. :(

congratulations!
