Congratulations rogelio! ;D
Viva and farahnz you are next. By the way have you ordered CGMS notes to see what has happened in your file?

Thanks Zorroo. Eagerly waiting for MR. You may not have any idea how important it is for me.

I ordered GCMS and my due dates were Jan. 13th. I am still waiting.

Congratulations!! to all applicants who got the PER, MR, RPRF and PPR recently. One of my friend got PPR on 14th February who was also August applicant like me. Although she applied on early August. So hoping all the very best for August applicants. Hopefully, we will get something by end of this month or by early March. After long wait (done medical on 19th Jan) my third line for Medical results has appeared in eCAS status on last friday.

Thanks Zorroo, I am so stressed but hopeful. I have ordered GCMS on Feb 16 (a month after my PER). I must wait three more weeks to receive it.

Hey Seniors,

I have a question about the MR.
Are people required to bring their passports for the medical exam? The reason I am asking is that I applied US Visa and kept my passport at the Consulate General Toronto.

Thanks

usually u need just an ID for MR, however, you might need ur study permit and driver's licence for the identification if u do not have ur passport in handy. Our physician did not ask for our passport, although we brought with me. So you better ask your physician whether your other ID is OK for them to process ur medical examination or not. U have to make sure you will bring ur medical request form which contains the IME number for the applicant.

Hi Guys

Finally CIC replied me again after I get PPR, they asked me to send my passport to ottawa and my wife now can send passport visa office back home, Now I am going to send my passport through Canada Post.

Any advise ? Usually how long it will take to get my passport back as I will submit it tomorrow? my study permit will expire on 31 of March, do you think I must apply for the renewal of study permit as well?

I can imagine Viva. But, be optimistic and patient. You may order another CGMS notes to see what they are doing on your file. Good luck!

I think driver's license is enough, as long as it has your photo and signature.

BTW, r u gonna do the medical in Toronto? If so do you have any suggestions of the physicians?

Thanks,

Congratulations again blackrock! I don't think that you need to renew your study permit now. It may take 2-3 weeks for you to receive it. Good luck!

Don't worry farahnz. Based on sebastianderp timeline, you may need to wait one or two weeks more to receive it. Good luck!

You are right. I should be more patient. Fingers crossed.

P.S. I have ordered another GCMS but should wait couple of weeks to receive it.

Based on my observation, Ottawa is recently issuing MR or RPRF on Mondays and Fridays. Hopefully I break the rule by getting them before Friday ;)
