Geotherm: Congrats, What was the deadline that they gave you for submitting PCC?

They always give you 60 days for PCC and Medicals. Only RPRF is required in 30 days. They may also ask for clarifications on a particular case to be submitted in 30 days too, such as intentions to live outside Quebec, visa refusal from USA, CV, publications, etc.

Viva2014,

Did you leave any gaps on your empoyement period? Even if you were unemployed you were supposed to mention it. I heard CIO ranks applications by completness, so CIO sends all files to CPC Ottawa but the order CIO sends them is based on most completed applications. Those applications without any gaps, without missing any reference letter to support a particular work experience and so on will go to the top of the batch sent to CPC. Anyways, no worries to much you are certainly in the queue but the queue might be very long!

Still no news ??? . One of the reasons for issuing MR for Oct. Applicants is for maintaining the average of processing time in a particular value. I hope they start issuing MR for all late August and early September applicants.

Contact CIC again to reschedule the appointment! You are more than justified to do so.

Hi all,

I have contacted CIC to arrange an appointment to land at a local CIC office. However.
I will not be able to attend the interview at this scheduled date they sent to me
because I found errors in CoPR papers and returned them back for corrections.
what should I do then?

any advise?

Thanks

Yes I was given 60 days for pcc and my child's PP renewal (to be sent not by email) and 30 days for RPRF.

I disagree partially with this your analogy, if there is any ranking it should be among applications sent to Ottawa on the same day otherwise, how do you explain a situation where applications sent to Ottawa in December have not received MR but the ones sent in early and late January were receiving MR. I ordered my GCMS after PER it says MR due date 6 January, 2015. So my own explanation is that the officer in charge of late August to Mid-September for some reason forgot to send out the MR or DR at least in my own case, until I sent PCC on Tuesday making them to pickup my file where it was already gathering dust - accurate speculations and analysis worked in this forum before December, but after that, we cannot really predict exactly what is happening. But I know that before the Mid-March all these mysteries will unravel and almost everyone in this forum will be at the stage of MR Done and awaiting DM. :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

Maybe I wasn't very clear when I explained this but CIO doesn't send applications to CPC daily, they send them by batches, for example they may send all applications received in December in one batch. Also, like you said they are assigned to different analysts at CPC for eligibility assessment. Some analysts may be faster than others but I still think they process applications based on most completed ones received from CIO. Also, it seems that country of nationality influences in the processing times. Anyways, its my theory and its based on what I have heard from other persons who know more than me about CIC.

Okay Pepe, I think its clearer now. I buy the ideas of nationality too and some officers faster than others.

Thanks Pepe. I mentioned all my activities for the past ten years without any gap. If you remember, I only did not include the reference letter for one of my work experience back home which I did not want to claim it. I do not think it would be an issue for delay since I did not need the point for that work experience.I just wanted to inform them about all my work experiences.

MR received today. Finally I am on the way to PR :-* :-* ;D ;D

Hey guys, I sent my application in mid-December, but still haven't gotten my file number nor any contact from CIC. Should I be concerned? :(
