many congratulations and proceed with the landing thing now!
i have one question. could you please help me in this.

In the COPR it is mentioned only my wife name under dependents column they did not mentioned my sons name. will it be problem during landing ? This is may be because of my son is canadian citizen. I have already provided my sons birth certificate, and in the POF I have shown 19000$ for 3 people.

not a problem, no worries. Proceed with the landing and do not bring your kids with you, leave them with a babysitter just in case the CBSA agent wonders whether your family size is bigger than the amount of money you have in hands.

so is it fine if I do not take my son with us during landing. They only see passport and COPR. They do not know our family information right. In that case I can just show $14000 in my bank statement for 2 people.

Two things:

1-Of course it's fine not to bring your sons for the landing procedure because they are Canadian citizens and therefore they do not need to be checked by CBSA.

2-You can still bring 14K for a family of two, but I am not sure if CBSA may figure that your family is bigger than 2. If I were you, I would just do the landing very quietly and not mention anything about your Canadian kids unless CBSA asks for that.

Hi,

I have posted my case here a week ago
=== In short ====
I applied under FSW PhD stream in November 2014 but cic returned my application by saying its incomplete (They stamped the date of receiving on my application). They did mistake in counting the number of hours. I again have sent my application package back with explanation letter. From this forum, I am looking for two things.

1- A case similar to mine (So that I can discuss the future possibilities)

2- Any expert opinion whether cic will reconsider my application or not as EE 2015 have been initiated
In my view, it was the administrative mistake, They did not count my working hours properly.

Waiting for replies. Thanks

You might be lucky but at this stage there is no other option than waiting. The chance to be accepted by CIO is very low, however and like I said you might be lucky.

Thank you for your suggestion pepe84. Hope you will get your passport soon.

Hey,

I am in the situation as you. Still waiting!

Who knows what's worse; waiting for PPR or waiting to get passports back? Specially after being told by Canada Post that the system will remain unavailable for at least the next couple of hours and if any item is scanned within this time, it may not show up later when the system becomes available again :-\ :-\ :-\

OMG !!! It might not show up even after maintenance?!?!

Yes, that was what I was told by a lady but I called them now again and they say they don't deal with scanned items. I hope this lady didn't know what she was talking about. Let's hope and pray for the best!!!!!!

PS. It's not a scheduled maintenance, it's a virus in the network that forced them to turn down the system.

Thanks for your information.
This virus really surprised me. Hopefully it won't harm any data. Let's just wait for the system to come back.

Again, don't trust me. If you call them now, I am sure you will get a different information lol
