Thanks again! And two more questions. I'm sorry if I'm bothering you Viva...

1. I also have experiences which do not classify under the types you mentioned above or were not full-time and one full year in length. I guess I don't need to mention it then?

2. And as a single person, I assume I don't need to submit the forms related to dependents? I know this is a stupid question, just wondering if you guys still submitted them but wrote something like N/A or similar.

Thanks a million!
If your experience is not O, A or B you do not need to mention that in your Economic class form, doesn't matter the time length. However, you can put that activity in your background deceleration form. Also if you are applying as a single applicant, logically you will not have any dependent so you do not submit any additional form.

Hello guys, can somebody please provide me his or her take on my previous post? Thanks a lot.

Guys, one more question. My primary occupation is Music Teacher (NOC 5133) and since I have a couple of years of experience on this position I was thinking of declaring this occupation as my intended occupation here in Canada. However, this occupation is not one of the 50 eligible occupations as per CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp. Do you think I should still stick to it since I have some experience?
As long as this occupation is part of NOC A or B or 0 and you are applying under PhD stream, you are fine and even you can choose it as your primary NOC. For other FSW categories your occupation should be one of those 50 eligible occupations not for PhD stream!

I would email CPC Ottawa explaining your situation and that you have been 4 months waiting after medicals.

Still waiting for PPR, I know I am not the only one but still can't stop worrying.

Guys, any idea/example for which reasons CIC rejects application after medical?

if you are applying under PhD stream, your primary occupation does NOT need to be within the 50 eligible occupations. As long as it falls within a skilled occupation you will be fine.

Hi Darkknight,

The two different emails I have exchanged with them and also my RPRF and PCC requests have the following at the end of the email.

Case Processing Centre - Ottawa | Centre de Traitement des Demandes – Ottawa – RK6165

Please check again!

Hi pepe84,

my emails dont have RK 6165 after French message.
Do you think RK 6165 is not the only one (a person/group) that handles communications?

Yes, all communications so far.

Dear colleagues,

CPC Ottawa sent two medical requests yesterday Dec 22 to 11-July and 24-July applicants. It seems they are still working on eligibility. OMG they have a huge backlog! :-X :-[

May be thats the reason for delay in PPR. may be- everybody is involved in initial review of pending FSW 2014 applications and want to finish the initial reveiw before the express entry starts. once express entry starts, the regular staff that review applications continue their job reviewing ee applications while the VOs that give final decision work on for PPRs (while waiting for security/reveiw of EE applications) of FSW 2014 applications.
may be , may be.

Guys, just wondering what will happen if cap gets filled and still they have excess applications? will they return them or will keep for next year? are they going to keep PhD stream in future or they are going to discontinue it?

Adamant, Viva2014, darkknight1, thanks a lot guys!

I just mailed my application and it won't reach Sydney before Monday or Tuesday, due to Christmas. That's gonna be tight time wise but I hope it will still fall within the cap. It's what it is, I did my best. Thanks again for your help.

Hello Guys,

I am jan 2014 applicant got PER in Feb 24 and I got POF, medicals and RPRF request in the month of November. I have submitted POF as a family for 3 people(say $15,000 in my wife account and $5,000 in my account), medicals and also paid RPRF Fee. I am still waiting for PPR. I think many of us are waiting for PPR. Is there any possibility of rejecting application after medicals and RPRF request ?.

Hi guys,

I am Oct 15th, DD applicant. Yesterday I called my bank, TD, and asked them to see if my draft has been cashed yet or not and they said it hasn't. However, today I sent a private message via online banking and they got back to me shortly after that my draft has been cashed on Dec 19th.

I just wanted to share my experience and let you guys know if you have the same situation it is a lot easier and faster to just message them instead of calling.

Any September applicant getting PER?
