Hi guys, My application was received by CIO on Sep 12th, and i just got informed from the bank that my bank draft was cashed on Dec. 3rd. I hope that's true :)
 
Hello everyone! I recently (early december) mailed my application. When I sent my application, the Fee Payment Form was from the August edition. Now I realized that in the website they updated the fee payment form (I am 100% sure that they did this update in december) and it shows the form was updated in November. I do not understand why they are doing this.
 
They're not so strict on those things, especially for the miscellaneous forms. Don't worry!
In most cases, you can't even tell what has changed in the recent form compared to the old one.

Thank you for the reply, cantaloupe! I think they should be careful with this kind of updates. Since we spend a lot of effort collecting the required documents, seeing them not paying that much attention disappoints me.
 
Hey guys,

Does anyone know for how long passport should be valid once you apply for FSW under PhD stream? I have sent my application with copies of my old passport with validity of 6 months in November. I just received my new passport which is valid for 5 years from now. Do you think I should send them (Sydney office) copies of my new passport? or do not bother as it may confuse them?

I do not have any file number yet, although I can refer to the person's name whom my package was delivered to.

It's not easy to append new documents to an application without knowing its number! It's not necessary either, because they're gonna ask for your new passport anyways, if they approve your visa.

Guys, I really need your help. This question is not related to PR application but I dont know where else to ask. I have recently renewed my study permit and applied for TRV through MyCIC. A few days back I got an email asking to upload 2 additional documents but the problem is there is no place on MyCIC account to upload them. In the email it also says you can also email them to cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca , I emailed them the documents and also explained the situation and I got an automatic reply. but I am still not sure if it is ok now.

Also the strange thing is that they have sent that CIC email to another email address of mine (which I think I only provided for PR application) and I thought it was not connected to this TRV application!!
