I received my GCMS after my medical request; however, its updated date was 10 days before the medical request. My eligibility and criminality were in progress; however, the security and medical were not started!!! Do you think that the status of the eligibility is only because of unsubmitted medical on that time? (My point:75)

Thanks

Hey guys,

I got my GCMS file this evening. I would like to share some important updates:

Last Update: Nov 11, 2014

Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: In progress
Medical: Passed (My medicals were uploaded to CIC on Nov 10, 2014. However, the third line came up on my eCAS on Nov 14, 2014)

Total number of points: 77 (Before CIO had given me 75 points because they only considered 2 years of work experience and I had claimed 4 years in total. Interestingly, CPC Ottawa did give me points for the 4 years of work experience I was claiming and they considered my letters from back home (NOC 4012) and from Canada (another NOC) plus my Canadian Univ letter (NOC 4012).

Do you guys think I should trust the email CPC Ottawa sent me saying: "Your police certificates have been received"

I am still concerned because the tracking info still says "in transit" (weird)

Please let me know your insights!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you should trust them Pepe. It is almost impossible that they give you a wrong information about your file.

Just look at your ecas to see when did they start working on your application. If the GCMS is for the date before that, then it means that your eligibility was not confirmed by the day they issued GCMS.
For my case, they sent me medical request one day after they started working on my application.

You should order them again.

Actually, I ordered the GCMS again today. I am planning to order GCMS in mid December, so I get one in early January and another one in mid January. What do you guys think? Can I order GCMS twice before the first one arrives?

Ask for a new one and this time your information would be complete. You will find out which part has stopped you to get PPR. My guess is criminality check.

Can you please make this letter different to the wording of the PhD attestation letter? Also, are you already a Dr.? If you are already a doctor, you may want to consider adjusting the grammar. For example: I confirm that XXX has been working (better say: I confirm that XXX worked). As a Graduate Research Assistant, he assists me in research activities (better say: As a Graduate Research Assistant, he assisted me in research activities.

Finally, change the top and bottom parts of the letter. It looks exactly like the PhD attestation letter and it may confuse the Visa Officer at CIO.

Hi everybody,

I prepared this reference letter for my TA/RA experience, please help me to revise this. See if I need to add more details or remove some irrelevant things.

I copied this template posted by the user "RA_toronto", many thanks!

I omitted some personal details.

Thanks!
