It wouldn't surprise me, plus the fact that the upcoming express entry will not represent any "entry" in 2015, better keep those eligible applicants from the last FSW calls to fill the 2015 immigration quota. :-\

It seems that the quota for permanent residency is full for this year. If I am right, we should not expect to receive the PPR before 2015!

I don't think there is no quota system for specific year, this thing based on the CAP which is still on for the period of May-Dec 2014, I feel we are not getting PPR due to any quota system its because of their procedural delay.

Yes Ace_2012, that would be much appreciated. I'm just preparing to send my applicaiton :(

I am sorry that I scared you guys. I was talking about PPR, not the initial acceptance. I do not have a link, but I know they have a goal for the number of people receiving permanent residency each year. Once that quota is full, all remaining applications are forwarded to the year after. The fact that there is not PPR for a while (well it is almost the end of the year), gave me this impression.

But I saw passport requests in late October for many people in some other forums. But I agree with you that "they have a goal for the number of people receiving permanent residency each year". However, since they have Visa offices in all around the world, it is really hard to say they have reached the quota.

You are possibly right. I am just getting too tired of waiting :( People applied a year or more after me got it already, while it is the same for me still :(

You will probably receive it next year. For me it took about 4 months to get file number. You can go to your profile and update your category.

Thank you Dark_Diamond!

There is a question on US Visa application that Do you have been refused entery or visa to USA or any other country?

What you answer this question?
Thanks

Actually when I was getting my refusal letter from an officer at the US border, I asked the officer about my concerns about this question in the US visa application. He told me answer NO to that question, so I did.

Dear All:
Do I need to choose the visa office if I apply this month?

No. If you are in canada, you should send it to sydney directly
