I saw a mid. July applicant few days ago that his documents were returned. Don't worry. Hopefully you will get file number.

Any news for Passport Request, I don't know whats happening these days why CIC is lazy in sending passport request.

Not yet blackrock! I have no idea when they start asking for PP. Hopefully we get there soon.

I have to wait little more as I have done medical today with my wife, but many people who have done medical almost 10 to 15 days back still waiting, its frustrating, but what else we can do other than patience and wait.

Hi all,

My application was received by CIC on 8 September. Do you think it has passed the completeness check already? I haven't find anything in my mailbox, so it must be sitting at CIO. Any ideas? Pepe, you said your friend got his/her application returned recently. When was that?

You should either receive PER email, which means your application has passed completeness, or your application back. If you've not received either, you need to wait.

Thank you for your info. Did you voluntarily tell them that you were refused before for landing or not?

No I did not say anything about it and nobody asked me for that.

NO

the rejection during flagpoling is different. they do not enter it into system.

We generally see any REQUESTS (RPRF, Medicals and PCC) on Friday or Monday .
so people that got PER and waiting for medicals, brace yourselves. some of you will get RPRF/medical requests tomorrow or Monday.

We should also expect to see some PPRs

I did this for years a go for my study permit.
last summer, I applied for US visa, and the officer told me you had intended to enter US and was refused by US.
They approved my visa any way, however, a gian at the border the officer told me that that refusal is in my file. he asked me some question and luckily let me go.
I do not recommend going to US border without US visa.

Did you tell the officer the exact word "flag-poling"?
Many members int his forum did this and confirmed from the officer that the refusal would not be on the file.

Anyways, i applied for US visa for this purpose, and got a 10 year one last week.

I did not say the word.
I told him the whole story, and he said I know.
But it was in my file after 4 years. I am sure that nothing will be deleted from my file.
They approved my visa which is good. However, I did not like it that the refusal was on my file. I prefer not to do it this time if I get my PR.

Hey there,

I just checked my status again. It still says 'In Process', but they added a second line about my medical results:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 2, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.

I know they also received additional documents on Nov 14th by mail (police certificate from where I previously lived and translation and receipt for payment).

I'm excited and hope I will become PR this year :)

unfortunately, it is in your file. I remember reading many members suggesting to do flag-poling.
But it is good you got US Visa this time.
