Congratulations.......it seems pretty quick, and now I wish to get this email quickly as well

Thanks so much guys, I still can't believe it. I just doubled checked the email they sent and they never asked for medicals, they just said it is ongoing and before the medical eligibility results are processed I must pay the RPRF and they sent me the link to pay the RPRF within 30 days. So what does it mean? Will I get the medical request after?

I thought they had asked me for medicals but I was so nervous that didn't read the email properly. So basically they asked me for police certificates and RPRF only, but not for medicals.

Also they said that my application has been found to be eligible in the category it was submitted.

Please let me know your advice.

Hello everyone,

I have a question, If anyone could help me out I would be really appreciate that.

Me and my wife together applied PR as a family on Jan 2014 and we got the file number on Feb 2014 and my application is with in the Canada, last month we had a baby boy. Do you guys think That I have to inform cic that we have a baby now. Is that a good idea, because he is a Canadian citizen anyways. I am worrying if I let them know this situation they may take longer time for processing my application. Any suggestions please?????????

Thanks.

Hi Pepe,
Congratulation, this is definitely a very good news. I got RPRF and Police certificate requests on the same day (Oct. 17) and the medical on the next day. So, please don't worry and hopefully you'll get medical very soon.

Good Luck

You HAVE TO inform them. The first email you received from CIC on eligibility and transfer to visa office says:

"Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals."

Since your child is Canadian Citizen, I don't think it will delay your application.

Don't worry. Most of the applicants are not getting both MR and RPRF at the same time. Usually they receive the second one one day after. Probably you will get it tomorrow. Even if it does not happen, you will get it soon. The most important thing was that your application has been found to be eligible in the category.

Thanks RA_Toronto for your quick reply,

If i e-mailed them a letter identifying the changes along with my baby birth certificate as a proof is ok. Do I need to show more funds now because my baby is dependent?.

Please let me know your advice.

When you get your RPRF email, they will ask you to update your file. However, you may want to notify them sooner than later, so go ahead and email CPC Ottawa with your new family information.

Good luck!

I am not sure about that part. I'd think so but I'd double check with other members of the forum who are knowledgeable about the subject and CIC call center.
