I can not see in the spreadsheet any applicants after March 2014. Does anyone have an idea about the situation and the process for the new applicants after May 2014.
My first application was rejected and I am going to reapply again this month. If anyone has any information about the new applicants after May 2014 please share it.

In my understanding (and don't take my word for it), you MUST report all work experience. So, the answer is YES, you may be accused of misrepresentation because of not reporting it (if they find out). Providing a letter is a different thing, though, and you don't have to provide a letter for it. To sum it all up, you MUST report it in the form, but you are not required to provide a documentation for your job if you are not going to claim it.
Thanks, but in the list of your work experience it also asks for the corresponding NOC code which if I add, would be a bit misleading. right?

You don't have to use only one NOC code for you application if I got you right. A primary NOC would be the one you going to claim your experience for.

My ecas now says "decision made". Details are:

"We received your application for permanent residence on September 12, 2013.
We started processing your application on July 31, 2014.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I haven't received the passport request yet though.

It must be good news! Congratulations. Mine still "in process".

According to the tracker, you received your medical request on July 14th, however, they started processing your application only on July 31. I think it might indicate that those who received email from "Program Assistants" have not had their eligibility assessed at the time the email was sent. :(

Hello Chakri,
Did they cross your study permit and previous visa from passport when you get new PR VISA?
Is it possible to travel outside Canada without the PR Card (as it take 7/8 weeks to come)?

Thanks.
They neither crossed off my TRV nor my study permit. However, once you did the landing and activated your PR status they (TRV and study permit) are a piece of crap. They won't help you to enter Canada. Technically you cannot enter into Canada on a commercial vehicle like Aeroplane or Bus without a PR card. But you can enter on your own car or a friends car through US boarder with your COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) and passport with Immigrant visa. So if you have to go out of the country on emergency basis (when you have a U.S.Visa) you can travel to U.S by renting a car or on your friend's car and can take a flight from there to the country where you want to go to. On the way back you have to follow the same process to enter in to Canada. Take a flight back to U.S and then enter into Canada by a rented car or your friend's car. In this case your COPR and immigrant visa are enough to enter Canada.

On the other hand, you have an option to request CIC for emergency processing of your PR card.

He hasn't applied yet. So I told him to just go with his supervisor's letter. No need to produce HR letter along with it.
Correct, I never had an HR letter either, and I landed two weeks ago.

I can get a letter from my supervisor saying the hours of RA (33 hrs/week in the summer and 20 hours in the fall and winter) + a letter from the prof I was doing TA with (12 hrs/week in the fall and winter).

Do you think that will be enough WITHOUT HR letter????
No need for an HR letter. The letter from your supervisor/prof needs to be complete. Check with sample letters and use the word 'assist,' identify the lead statement, and a reference a substantial number of duties

If you leave Canada before the PR card arrives and after you've landed, then you will most likely need a travel document to re-enter Canada. You get the travel document when you are outside of Canada and at a Canadian Embassy. It is good for one re-entry. If your citizenship is from a visa-exempt country (like the US) then you won't need it to re-enter (according to the CBSA in Victoria, BC).

guys I am about to prepare my documents for appliction in this category. In addition to this Phd RA experience that I have, I also have worked for 1 year part time and also a few months full time during and after I got my masters. But it will be hassle for me tofind my supervisor at the time and aske them to write a letter to claim those expereinces. Apart from the part that it might help my case if I did this do you see any harm in NOT REPORTING this? I mean I am sure most people here dont have prior to Phd work expereince and for that I think I would be fine with only my RA. but is it bad if i dont even say that I have worked?
Report all work experience or it's misrepresentation. You don't have to substantiate it all with reference letters.

I am eligible to apply under both categories of family physician (1000 cap- no application yet) and PhD Stream. Which category do you think is faster or I ll have a better chance?
Try under PhD stream cause you get lot of support from this forum.

In terms of gaining insight onto the application process of PhD stream, and getting help from technical oriented people, I agree that this thread is almost unparalleled. I doubt that even lawyers would easily be able to give some of the useful information we're getting from this PhD stream forum.

However, it's probably worth your time to research the processing times of some of the other streams of FSW as well. Check the following spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit#gid=1627896255

It's amazing how fast some of these applications have been getting processed. Some May 2014 applicants (to CPC Ottawa) have been getting medical requests  !!!

So when did you email them the requested documents? Did you email them?

Thanks,
