I think due date at this stage is meaningless. My brother got his pass request 1 month before his due date. His due date was Dec 10th, 2013. Who knows how long we should wait. It is already more than 5 moth after our medicals. I am really really tired of this process.

You are right. The due date is meaningless. When the security check is complete, we will receive our passport request.

I am tired of waiting too. Hopefully, we will hear from them soon!

Has anyone seen this as yet?. Some very interesting historical statistics on the number of PR cases approved by visa processing posts on the basis of category, year and so on. CPP-O has an approval rate of about 60% for this year from Jan-June under the FSW category alone...

Please update my information in the tracker.

RPRF request and Biometric data sheet request received 6 December 2013. No medicals request yet.

And I had sent updated reference letters after seeing in my GCMS that first reviewer only awarded 61 points.

Thanks.

Today morning I received the update in my application check (By UCI). 2nd point was added todoay. What does it mean??
"Permanent Residence
1.We received your application for permanent residence on May 27, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on November 28, 2013."

They assessed your application on Nov. 28. You will hear from them. They usually contact people the same day they assess the application though.

I applied for CAIPS recently and they didn't consider my husband's education at all. The point for his education was Zero although he has two masters. My husband has 1 year job experience in Canada now. Recently I sent his employment letter and my updated reference letter. hopefully the pay attention. IS it true we should wait 25 months now based on the process time??
(Moreover, I'm not inactive user, change it i the excel sheet pleassss :D:D:D)

Greetings all!

Our family's journey to Canadian permanent residence ended yesterday at one of the Alberta-Montana border crossing, in a truly Canadian weather conditions of -33 freezing cold. :) It took us exactly one year eight months and one week between the time I sent my application to the Sydney office and the day we landed!

Just to recap the final steps of our timeline:
>I sent our passports to Ottawa on October 30th
>We got back the passports with visas on November 20th
>We drove to U.S. for a day trip and came back late in the evening on December 6th, almost missing the closing time of the immigration services on that border checkpoint. :) We arrived at the checkpoint 5:50PM and they were closing 6:15PM. However, this must have worked to our advantage as the lady was in a hurry, collected our passports and confirmations of permanent residence and called us back to the counter in 15 minutes. No questions asked, no other documents requested. Congratulated us and we were on our way after 15 minutes of arriving at the border checkpoint. :)

Good luck to everyone on the forum! If you need to reach me, message me to my private inbox and I will respond...

Cheers... :D :D :D :D
