The way the files should be processed is clear in the operation manual. In the page 3 of the operation manual for applicants on or after May 4,2013 (http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/RESOURCES/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf) is mentioned:

What this chapter is about

This chapter describes the processing of applications for permanent residence submitted by applicants in the Federal Skilled Worker
Class, and received by the Centralized Intake Office(CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia on or after May 4, 2013.

Note: Information on processing applications for permanent residence under the Federal Skilled Worker Class received before May 4, 2013 is provided in
OP6, OP 6-A and OP 6-B.

The applications which have been submitted before May 4, 2013 should be assessed according to the operation manual 6B (http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/RESOURCES/manuals/op/op06b-eng.pdf)
Kaziahmmed can make it clear if his RA/TA is counted in his new GCMS notes. That's all we need.

Thanks for your advise. The last experience letter was not counted you can tell that by the number of points they awarded me. But as I said that one was an RA letter and there are many debates on that. I think the adaptability points are more clear. I talked to MP office and they said they send an email to Ottawa to ask about the refusal criteria. They did not take my documents too so I don't want to put much hope on that. I called CIC and they say re-apply or appeal in the federal court but the lawyers are way more expensive than a new application The thing is I really don't feel I want to start all over again after 17month in the processing queue

You're welcome!

Send an email to them, the calling center staff don't have full access to your application. Reply to their email and I am sure they will clarify what has happened even it took 3 or 4 weeks, they will respond eventually. Also I think they will respond to the MP email too and faster than your email. Don't lose hope!

Hello, I have a question which can be answered better by those who got passport request recently. Please tell me after passport request how much time I will ave to mail my passport, is it 30 days or more? and how much time I will have to complete landing after visa is issued. Thanks.

Guys, I have bed news! They have changed the processing time of application which are submitted to Ottawa from 15 months to 25 months! :o

Hahaha. So they can still put me on hold. As I have been in process for 20 month, and still can wait another 5 month. Excellent.

I wish I had applied in 2010 in the old system. I only delayed it 1-2 months in 2010 because of my comprehensive exam.
My delay caused such a pain and it is still going to be a pain in the neck.

I am rethinking about my application. No way I can apply before March 2014, and am planning to wrap-up phd my mid 2015. I sud think about apply PNP after completion of the degree..

RCMP Screening

Total assessment points: 70

Can you guys please kindly provide your comments on the above info?
Especially does the 70 points mean that I formally got 70 points and it is verified? and they accepted my work experience, etc.?

Are the incoming section for the documents that they received from us? Its update date seems to be too old even though I sent my doc recently!

Thank you.

Hamed, I think these points are still from CIO. Check the notes at the end of your file.
My points was 75 for 10 months the first officer changed it to 66 , then I updated my TA/RA letter and next officer changed it to 70. So it could change.

I just received RPRF email. It says that "you are eligible but admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing."

The point is that I have not received Medical Request yet. Is it normal ?
