Applicant from PhD program after 5 Nov, 2011 connect here to get status

Hello Seniors,

I got documents request for proof of fund,then I have sent it 8 days ago. However, I forgot to write 'Section B' but I wrote 7th floor. What should I do??? According to the FedEx, my application reached on 19 March and signed by 'XXX'.

Not writing 'Section B' is fine. I made the same mistake, and emailed them immediately, and they replied the following hours after I sent them the email

He seems to be really proud of his "accomplishment. There are still roughly 100,000 backlogs in the federal skilled worker (I think technically all of us who applied in 2012 are part of the backlog here), so if they can really reduce it to about 10,000 in 2 years, most people who are applying this or next year should get processed really fast. Let's hope for the best.

Hi Guys,

I have some concerns about my immigration application. I submitted my application in March, 2012 and got the file number in early April, 2012. I haven't gotten any news from CIC so far. Is this normal situation? I left the email as the main connection way for CIC. if CIC request any documents or medical check, will I get the notice from email or mail? Thanks.

They may be reluctant to award 40 hours per week for TA/RA, but we have confirmed that several TA/RA only applications got accepted, and they all got their PR's. I personally knew two people who already got their PR applying using only TA/RA (though it was CEC last year). It's just the matter of how strong your letter is. And since you need only to have 1,950 continuous hours, if you write your letter in a clever way, you can easily get these hours. Do you mind sharing what you wrote for TA/RA descriptions?

It just says: Mr. xx joined my lab since Jan, 2011, as a fulltime PhD student (40 hours/week). his research duties is to investigate novel data analysis mothod for neuronal data. his teaching duties is to assist in undergraduate courses in spring and fall semesters. His income is xxxxx.

About the only thing that you can do right now is to supply them with a longer explanation letter for your work experience according to NOC 4012 and hope that they will consider it. Since it's still at Sydney level, it's probably possible (once they ship everything to the VO, then the VO would have your explanation letter too that they will hopefully consider).
