Yes. That's correct. And they didn't ask for any other documents... just the original PCC.

Hi,

I got a proof of fund request couple of days back. I have only $2000 in my checking account. I have been maintaining $10,000 in my TFSA during the entire period of my application. But the bank statement just shows the balance as of now but no record of when the account started and such things as it's an investment. (Initially when i applied I showed this money +checking account money)

Do I need to attach an explanation letter stating the money in TFSA can be transferred to checking account (with a 1-2 days delay) anytime?

or

Should I transfer the money to checking account and make a new statement? (here the source of money is not external but from one of own account so they don't doubt?)

It's better if you transfer your investment money into your checking account than writing an explanation letter, it is highly probable that you will get rejected if you don't show them that your money is transferable (instantly) at any time. So get a new statement showing the required minimum amount as well as a "good" record of the past six-month banking activity.

In the checklist IMM5612E, there is an item named "Identity and Civil Status Documents". In this item, there is a requirement, "National IDs, family/household registry book(if applicable)".

Is there anyone who has submitted National IDs, family/household registry book? In fact it looks like that there is no notary service for national IDs & family/household registry book in China?

How did you deal with this? Do you get PER if you have not submitted these documents?

If from India then we do not have any any national id.

In fact you can attach followings
1. driver license
2. Voter ID
3. Pan Card

But non these are coming under national id. In fact Canadian citizen does not have any national id

Hope SIN card is not coming under national id
