I do not know why the applications of March and April are not considered yet. But I guess it could be a change happened that makes that difference.
1) The security check system went faster after installing a new system.
2) CIC hired new ppl or a new group are looking after a division of the applications.

A friend of mine told me they like the IT ppl and they won't reject my application. Hope that's true.

I don't think they discriminate based on profession, not in this stream. And it been years since IT has been in the list of professions for the FSW. Better to never expect "better" treatment based on this things.

Today, I have been asked by OttPilot to submit originals of our PCCs that was submitted with the application. I had only included the official translation(+ a photocopy of the original which comes with the translation) in the initial application because I didn't have the originals with me in Canada then. Now I have the originals with me and will send it to them today.

Deadly silent. It looks like anybody after the 16th of February hasn't been processed yet. I just hope this doesn't mean they will be back into a long slumber mode like last yeat

On Jan 27 2013, they asked me to submit my bank statement. Today (Feb 8 2013) they also asked for the original document of my police certificate. Like dj2009, I had only sent the official translation.

Relax. People have been getting news all week. You have to remember that there are thousands of applicants that aren't in this forum. They are not miracle workers, how fast do you want them to work?

You had another document request (bank history) on Jan 30. Is that correct? Besides, did they ask for any other documents or the original PCC was the only document they asked for?

Congrats! Such a good news !

So far, an average of 130 day between medical request and passport request.
Min of 67 days for Karmen, max of 208 for phdapplicant.
