Dear seniors
i applied under FSW category in jun 2009 and got rejection in 2012
the reason of rejection was miscalculation of job experience duration by the Visa officer, i send the reconsideration request but it was also rejected. now i am doing my MS in Business Administration and planning to start my Phd in Management Sciences from canada in next year
i am here to get all the information and tips regarding to be eligible and to get admission in Phd program from canada.
can u people advise on which areas should i start working at least 1 year before what could be the general requirements of Canadian universities for phd and what could be the strengthen points to get approval for admission

I totally agree with you that it only applies to CEC. I realized the amendment is under Section 87.1 which is CEC.

Just to let you know that I sent a letter requesting my application back if they can not place it in the 2011/2012 batch.
I made it clear for them to treat it as return post, so there would not be any need to 'place it in processing' where it would lie for heaven knows how long only for it to be returned due to cap full.
My message, in summary was- Just return my application as is-unopened. So I can resend it asap.
If I wait, at this pace, I wont get it back till February and I am hoping this request will be treated within 2 weeks, as required

Mine is a CELPIP test. It was in an envelope sealed with a sticker and there was a statement on the sticker says "invalid if seal is broken". However there is nothing like that stated on the report itself and it do have a stamp. So what do you think ?

they haven't opened any envelopes they have some check marks on the forms and received stamp on the first page...since bank statement is good for 6 months and police certificate for 1 year (as stated on document checklist)
Tomorrow morning I will courier it and they will receieve it on monday morning 9.00AM lol

I too used new forms while resubmitting. You can check the date at the bottom of the form, not all forms have changed. Then you have to sign all the forms with a new date too.The_Prince said:
Replace the changed forms with news. Also i updated the fee payment too. Since the sign has to be updated. But the rest i havent touched at all. Even not put down the new date on the old forms. Just sent back as they are. But obviosly if u r sending the new forms they need a new sign date. Sign date doesnot matter as long as they are signed before it is reaching cio.
Last but not least. U need to use the uptodate forms for sure. They will reject it and send back otherwise. Just 2 forms lol no need to be lazy.
Mine will be at CIO on Dec. 28 at most.
