I completely agree with Govind and in fact I went to the MP office for this purpose. I don't have any objection if I get rejected due to any hardcore crime, misinterpretation or for submission of any unauthentic documents and to clarify all these it is reasonable that it takes time but I can not afford to get rejected due to any flimsy grounds like assisting or assist. Again wishing all the best to everyone in the forum and hope everyone's application will process on time.

Hello Friends
I didn't send my Police certificate with my application and still waiting for document request. The expiry date on my Police certificate in on July 30. Do you think if CIC will accept it even if it gets expired?? I heard CIC will accept PCC's even after expiry date if they've been issued less than one year?? Is that true or I should think about getting a new PCC?

Don't wait for them to ask for the PCC, send it right now. I think this is true if they received it with the submitted application but if you are trying to send it after it won't work!

So if I send it right now, Won't it effect on my process time? Again I heard that it will be delayed by this way!!

Many applicants sent PCC and POF proactively, as a result they got the medicals without any document requests. I don't see how it will delay the processing! However, you can wait a little bit as you may get the document request this week if the strike didn't affect your processing time.

I think anjuku sent her PCC pro-actively (several months after her application submission), but more than a year later they still asked her to update it. I'm not sure exactly how they work sometimes (when she sent out her PCC last year, it was less than three months old, so goodness knows why exactly they asked her for a new one again)

Ya, we are in the same boat! ;)

I think the medical request email is generated automatically, and it was not sent by a CPP-Ottawa officer.
