Can we send documents without being requested, especially that a supplementary job experience letter is not referring to any updates, it would just include more details !

I did that 2 month ago. The CIC call centre agent told me "I can guarantee that the case officer would consider it, and you are allowed to do it". There is another person in this forum who did this, and a few days ago got document request. His CAIPS shows the 2nd reference letter has been considered by the case officer. BTW, sending th supplementary reference letter will not have any negative effect on your application, while , if your 1st letter is incomplete, you will be rejected 100%.

That is totally right, I will start preparing that supplementary letter and e-mail to Ottawa as soon as possible.

But u know what, it is really hard to prepare an "unrejectable letter"
I can see applicants here who had perfect letters and got rejected ???

Do u think we need to copy past the duties or what !!!

I would say: "yes". Include the same wording in your new letter.

Hi All

I got an email from OttPilot saying that they did not receive my POF(proof of funds) documents.
But I sent all by canadapost Xpresspost a month ago. The mail was received and signed by D Thomas.

Anybody have similar experience when sending documents by courier service to Ottawa before? How to deal with this? Should I re-send another copy ASAP?

same here! I just sent them an email asking what the situation is and they said there's been a mistake.

I think, they will contact you at the latest by the end of the next week, as they have already contacted those applied by March 8th, 2012 (those with due date of March 23th). Be quick man. E-mail them. Do not mail it to Ottawa. CIC website clearly asks applicants to e-mail the scan of any document to Ottawa (and of course it is much faster).

I will email tomorrow morning, and I will send them tomorrow morning too. I live in Ottawa, I do not think it take too much time for my document to get there. I also Do not know if they contact me by the end of the next week, because my friend sent his application on Feb 24 and he got answer on March 19. Also I have another friend who sent his application around march 11 but he is still waiting. I hope I can make it.

Hi AF___, do you recall including 'Section B' on the address when you sent your documents to Ottawa? Both I and jutos did not include 'Section B' for the address for Ottawa (so only '219 Laurier Avenue West 7th Floor', rather than '219 Laurier Avenue West 7th Floor Section B'). I was wondering if this somehow led to our documents being misplaced, and somehow delayed processing...

I see. So this could be a good lesson for those people trying to submit documents to Ottawa. Include the full address!!! Do not repeat our mistakes. My friend included the full address, and he got MR after only 10 days. It seems to me that CPP-Ottawa would wait until the completion of the due dates before they start searching the mail room for our documents (since it's not specified to '7th Floor Section B'), and this would delay our processing by maybe up to a month

I'm sure the three of us are not the only ones to have made this mistake. I hope you're right though I sent them an email yesterday to notify them of this mistake, and they told me it should still reach them, even if we did not mention the complete detail. The question is, whether or not this will actually delay processing (like, if you include full-address, then they will immediately open the application, and attach the documents to our files, where if not, they will wait until the end of the due dates, realized the documents were not there, sent email, only to later on find the documents from the mail-room when they actually search for it at the due date).

On my opinion, do not change anything just add more detail about your RA/TA duties (and emphasize this at the beginning of your letter that this second one is issued to supplement ****)
