I got it March 18, 2015. since my medical exam was done outside of Canada, they didn't receive it the first time and that has caused a delay in the PPR I believe.

Hi Fhtd, thanks for sharing this. When did you get your PPR?

That is actually a very good question! :) But we should ask it from CIC! :D 8)

You need to call CIC because the maximum processing time should be 12-24 months and it is on their website that after this period has been exceeded, one can call them.

I am still waiting for PPR! 25 months... :P That must be a record, right?! ;D

No, you have waited only less than half of what I am still waiting.

Happy Nowrooz everyone :)

What? since 2010 you have been waiting? this is serious!

Thanks for sharing this. I noticed a new pattern here and that is LOCATION: A87-PhD - 29/04/2013

Location at CIO used to be A87 only, for either PhD stream applicants or other NOC applicants. It seems they are separating the applications at CIO (PhD from other NOC categories) and sending them in separate batches to CPC Ottawa. That's probably why there are no updates from the PhD stream applicants and meanwhile other NOC applicants are getting MR and RPRF as of these days.

I found one thread where FSW-TQF is before FSW-REG. The following timeline is copied from "prapplicants13".

Hi guys,

I just checked my GCMS notes in more detail and found some pattern regarding location:

LOCATION: FSW Jan - 7/11/2014 I sent the scan of new passport one day before this to them
- LOCATION: RK.... - 30/10/2014 I received the request to renew my passport and to send them the scan
- LOCATION: Appears RFV - 28/10/2014 (RFV? Does this stand for Ready or Review For Visa? Cheesy)
- LOCATION: FSW-REG - 23/09/2014
- LOCATION: FSQ-TQF - 28/05/2014 I guess I paid RPRF and send the requested Doc on this day
- LOCATION: --------- - 26/05/2014 The medical and Doc request (phd info) received on this day
- LOCATION: RK...... - 21/05/2014 According to ECAS they started processing my application on this day
- LOCATION: DS.... - 08/05/2014
- LOCATION: A900 - 13/05/2013
- LOCATION: REGISTRY - 10/05/2013
- LOCATION: IN Transit 06/05/2013
- LOCATION: A87-PhD - 29/04/2013

It seems that my application moved around many places and it was delayed after medical because it stopped at LOCATION: FSQ-TQF for 4 month and then LOCATION: FSW-REG for one month. Finger crossed it is in the FSW JAN pool now and the Due date is Jan 5. I'll keep you updated

Some abbreviations from my latest GCMS notes that may be helpful in the future:

It's all about locations

FSW-(month abbreviation): it's likely your application is going to be finalized on that month.

PR Printing: Ready For Visa Location

A918 VPrint: Visa Printing location

TBA: To be archived

REG: Registry

Still trying to figure out what is TQF :(

It's interesting. I ordered my notes one week after receiving PER and the location of my paper file is stated as "A87-FSW" rather than A87-PhD.
