My ecas used to show only my mailing address
Suddenly I see my home address (which is the same as mailing address) being listed beside the mailing address.
Does everyone see both addresses or only one?

My ecas has not moved since Jan ( that I received my PER), except this one thing!

Yes you can do your medicals before CIC asks you to do it. Just go to a panel physician and say you want to do the exam upfront and give them your file info.

I have a question regarding MR. I have got PER and waiting for updates....Can I do the medical exam before getting the notice? I am living in Edmonton and I heard the schedule of local authorized clinics is really tight. Thanks for any advice.

I do NOT recommend anyone to undergo upfront medicals. Please note that your permanent resident visas can only have the maximum validity of your medical exams. Medical exams expire in one year from the date they were uploaded and approved by CIC (NOT the date you underwent medicals). If you undergo upfront medicals and your file is finalized in 8 months after you underwent them, please be prepared to be asked for medicals again.

Minimim validity for PR Visas: 6 months (provided that medicals expire in 6 months)

Maximum validity: same as medical exams validity (in case your medicals expire in more than 6 months after your file is finalized)

Any one who sent his passport and waiting for it or got it recently, Can you share how long it took to get passport back these days?

My passport been received by CIC on Thursday or on Friday last week.

Hi blackrock! I got PPR same day as you, mine reached them on the 19th and there is still no news from Canada post. I would know when they post my return envelop. Please let us know when you hear anything.

Hello every body

My study permit going to be expired the end of March.going to apply for a new one. I noticed the document checklist has been changed. A medical exam proof is required for study permit application.
It is said we need to have information sheet or medical exam report (IMM 1017E)!
I do not the report which was filled by the doctor. I just have the information sheet which the Dr gave me before going to hospital for X-ray and blood test! Does it work?
I appreciate if anybody has recently applied for study permit, share his or her information.

I also see both addresses. I think they applied this change to our eCas accounts within the past few days. At least it's a sign of some activity

Congrats, what do you mean by ecas update? you could see "we started processing application " line?
