Thank you! :)

I don't know the reason! But i guess it was a period before the new year that we were hearing less of "Ready for Visas".
Where can I find the visa officer in GCMS?

Congratulations!

It seems that you had been waiting for your PPR after doing the medical exam for a long time.

Do you know why it took so long? Could you please share your visa officer and your country of nationality?

Thanks,

Hi Nightrain,
My application was also received and cc was charged on the same days (Nov 18 and Jan 13). Hope we can get the PER on the same day as well :) Any idea on the recent time delay between cc charged and PER?

We are on the same boat then :)

You should be able to find your visa officer on second page of you GCMS note where it says:

APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT:
Assigned To : "your visa officer"

You can also find it in the Note section as well.

Hello,
I have urgent question please I applied under PhD stream and application received on 30 September, they immigration returned back on 12/12/2014 due to missing information on main application ,I corrected and sent back, they received on 23/12/2015 and still waiting for charging. My question do you think they finished the completeness check for December applications, or there is chance they can returned again, it is really so stressful.

Dude, it is too early,.... ur application is back to 'Q' and will be charged according to received date... u will be fine..... gud luck..

As I read a member's post regarding 'medicals are not received by CIC', I went and spoke to the clinic and asked for all my family member's medical status...

Last week I got only my medical submission report and it was written that case was submitted to CIC on 17/Jan

Today I got the summary report for my wife and kid....

My kids's report was submitted on 17th (they told me it will be submitted right away...... but did not)

My wife's report was submitted on 21/Jan (wow... they told me, max time7-10 days to submit reports)

Edmonton is the most expensive place yet clinic was not giving priority to the medical report uploading to cic.

If ur ECAS is not updated in 7-10 days it is worth talking to the clinic about status of medicals....

I dont know when i will get my third line.... also I have sent an email to cic that i did medicals n 8th and not sure if cic received them and to acknowledge.... most likely they will not say yes or no...

Now, to be safe I am thinking of sending proof of medicals to cic before they request me (may be after waiting another week and receiving reply to my email from cic)

Congrats to ppl received medical request, ppr, PER email, landed as PRs and gud luck to all the applicants, whose application is in process..

We had our medical exams done around mid-Nov, 2014. So, it's more than 2 months and there is no update (not even whether or not CIC received medical reports). Btw, the doctor asked my wife to do a second xray. I emailed tracking sheets and RPRF payment proof to CIC (I emailed twice-first time I sent the RPRF payment proof, and then I sent the the tracking sheets. I got automated responses only). Worried why it's taking so much time. No clue how long others usually waited / are waiting after medical. Don't know if I should contact them (If I should, confused about what I should write). Could anybody please share experience/suggestions? Thank you.

I had done my medical on 20th of nov, after that didnot hear anything, neither status been updated nor got PPR, couple of days back I got email from CIC they did not received my medicals, so I provided then when n where I had my medical examinations. Let's see what happens next.

If you submitted your PCC with your application, they will not ask you for PCC again. Usually they ask for PCC before issuing medical request and together with RPRF. So you should be safe. The same applies for proof of funding. If you provided a bank statement showing enough funding to support yourself and your family (way higher than threshold) you will not be asked to submit POF again.

Good luck man, you deserve to get your PPR soon!
