Hey Guys,

I was trying to register IELTS exam through www.test.registration-usa.com

As far as the format is concerned, the only option it gives me is "Paper Based"
If its a paper based then how the listening and speaking will occur?

I know in TOEFL, there are options for CBT and IBT. but for IELTS why the only option is Paper based.

Thanks,

IELTS is only paper based

Listning and reading are done on paper as well.

Listning you get to hear convestation on head phone and record answers on papersFor reading, you read the passage and record answers on the paper as well

Some times they don;t provide head phones but just a common sound source for all candidates in the room/hall

Preetam,
It is not difficult to hear on speakers. You get to work fast because nothing would be repeated.
