I am worried since I sent my passport in Dec 16th and didn't get it back, also nothing changed in my cic account...What should I do? Any recommendation? Thanks in advance

No need to do anything..just wait..Its due to Christmas holidays..(cic was closed 24-27 dec)

for me also looks similar to you:
sent on 16th delivered 23rd
no update yet
I'm hoping to see some changes thursday/friday and passports back by first week of jan2017.

I didn't get any notification until the next day (typical for CIC updates) so I just kept logging in to check it...

I've been pretty much a silent member on this forum but I received my ppr request on 23rd dec my immigration consultant only decided to tell me today. Hope the remaining applicants get the golden email in the coming weeks. I know how stressful it's been so it's easier to say be patient than to actually do it. Thanks to a lot of the active members on this forum mainly lazybone always there to put members at ease and all the best for the new year!
