Yeah I noticed that. Did you by any chance get the opportunity to order your GCMS? I ordered them twice - once at the beginning of Feb after my file moved from CIO to Ottawa and then later on in April. Both times I noticed my A 11.2 were never calculated/processed. From other's GCMS, it felt like the A 11.2 were pretty much calculated as soon as Ottawa received the file.

Yes I did order GCMS, but quite recently (on May 12). Didn't receive it yet.

I have seen a pattern that if you submit additional documents when requested, most likely your BG remains "in progress" until the end. But that's just my theory, could be wrong.

I think you are right, though it's 3 of us now with BG changed to in progress on May 26, probably wishful thinking I guess :)
Did you submit additional documents a few days before May 26 as well?

Just got my GCMS notes. Took 34 days.

No update on my file since Jan 30th. Seems awful slow in Ottawa...
Is it your first or 2nd one? Any significant changes after 3 months?

Haha, that is weird! I'm sure you'll be fine in regards to the Quebec/Ontario situation. Best of luck and as soon as I hear anything, I'll be sure to post on here. My thoughts are that I've seen quite a few CEC folk on the forums in early January start to receive background changes - so my guess is sometime in the next two weeks. Who knows though! My implied status kicks in this Thursday and explaining how it works to HR has been a nightmare!

Hi you can get a bridging permit for one year if you need. I'm on one at the moment. Let me know if you need help. I think they get processed quite quickly these days and it costs around 200 bucks.

Good day everyone,

I had reported my application status here on May 11th. Again, I thank everyone in this wonderful group for all your contributions and assistance. Thank you so much.

Below are my timelines again and update:

Number of people in application: 4 (couple and 2 children)

Nationality: Nigerian

Visa Office: Ghana

Application type: PNP (Nova Scotia), Outland

AOR: 26th of January, 2016

RPPR (permanent residence fee request) plus other docs and PPR: 10th May, 2016

Fees paid and Passport sent: May 17th and it was received in Ghana on May 19th

Background check changed to 'In Progress' with a ghost email notification: Today June 1st (great starter for the month )

The time gap between AOR and RPPR/PPR is 3 months and 2 weeks

The time gap between RPPR/PPR submission and Background check to in progress is 13 days almost 2 weeks

In all, the gap between AOR and now is 4 months 2 weeks and 6 days: January 26 - June 1, 2016 (though 1 week delay came from our end of submitting our passports)

So I guess we can be hopeful of getting an affirmative response soon after all by God's grace. So please what's the next thing we should expect?

I would humbly encourage everyone else waiting to be hopeful and exercise a little more patience. I understand how waiting could be tough. Our efforts shall be crown with success by God's grace.

All the best people

Hi Everyone,

I start to worry a bit...

AOR: 10/01
Submit additional doc as requested: 12/01
Review of eligibility: in progress
Medical exams: passed
Background check is needed: not started

Since January no updates at all, any of you are in the similar case?

Thanks for your advices!
